Admin Announcement Brief Downtime Tonight For Server Upgrades

Tonight we will be moving CF to a new server so there will be a downtime of around 1-2 hours starting at 11 PM CT. We will use this thread to update users when the move is completed or if there are any issues that might prolong the downtime.

Update: The server upgrade is complete. Please let us know if you have any issues.

I've noticed on the good side, no false re-directs like before.

A common issue I would get is saying the site isn't there or it taking forever to connect to the URL. This seems to have fixed issues of that nature.

I have been experiencing periodic issues with the server being down for around an hour or so, usually in the mid day EST.

It happened to me again today from about 2:00pm EST until maybe 10 minutes ago (I stepped away from the PC). I receive the error:

Error 524

These are still happening . Using FireFox on a Mac I don't get an error message but I suddenly can't connect when switching from another Site.

About an hour later I can usually connect

Yesterday at 11am and the day before, both times at 11am Pacific time, I wasn't able to get onto the forum at all. I figured it must be an update happening.
