A Biblical Worldview is defined as believing that absolute moral truths exist; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific religious views.

1. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life
2. God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and He stills rules it today
3. Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned
4. Satan is real
5. A Christian has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people
6. The Bible is accurate in all of its teachings

I won't ask how you score yourself, rather I will ask if you agree with this list in general and are there any points you take exception too.

According to a Barna Poll in late 2021, only 6% of America agrees with all six of them.

Try not to just pop off a simple, hollow accusation without defending your point.

.......

Well you say (which i agree) 6. The Bible is accurate in all of its teachings. But in 2. it states, God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe.

There is not a single verse in The Bible stating God created a universe. But stated many times is, God created heaven and earth.

“O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, who are enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Then Huram continued, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who has made heaven and earth, who has given King David a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who will build a house for the Lord and a royal palace for himself.

May you be blessed of the Lord,
Maker of heaven and earth.

Have you really looked at the creation described in Genesis 1.

The sun, moon and stars are place in the raqia (expanse/dome) that God placed over the earth. This dome was created by God to separate waters from waters and also the location where God placed the sun, moon and stars. This raqia (dome) is named by God heaven (sky), not a universe.

I agree with this, but it's unsurprising that the poll only estimates 6%, because (1) we live in an age of Biblical illiteracy, and (2) many branches of Christendom explicitly deny some of these statements. Most liberal wings, for example, deny 6, some 4, and in practice 5. Our Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic friends may question 3 given their understanding of grace.

I regret to say what you're saying here is not a good reading of Scripture. It's not orthodox. God's Word does say that God created the universe, and particularly clearly in John 1:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made."

This is to say, all things, seen and unseen, were created by God.

We see this also in:

Ephesians 3:9: "... God who created all things"

Colossians 1:15-17: "[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

Romans 11:36: "From [God] and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory for ever. Amen."

Romans 11:36: "... the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now."

So, not only did God create the universe — time, space, and everything therein — but in His love and grace, He sustains it. And though it is corrupted, He cares for it in His longsuffering and He promises to make all things new.

Another person who can not even see, science has blinded them to the creation described in The Bible.

I'm sorry to say I don't know what this means, but for what it's worth, our church believes in the six-day creation account. We reject the theory of Macroevolution. But if you suggest that the earth is flat, and that God is not the creator of the entire cosmos, then that is most certainly not a right reading of Scripture. The verses I quoted above express that God is the creator of the universe, and that the earth is round is just as plain as day.

I'll leave this thread as I'm not really interested in derailing it any further.

While the first 3 can be directly proved from the Bible and can be, therefore, called "biblical worldview", the last 3 are just opinions or understandings of what is in the Bible. So I would exclude these three and call them "specific views about the Bible" instead.

Agree with all 6.

If absolute moral truth don't exist ... then God don't exist.

God is absolute moral truth ... whether people believe that ... or not .... is another matter.

Are you serious? I guess this is exactly why Barna's survey showed only 6%....

#4... Explain away how Satan DIDN'T dialog and tempt Jesus. Jesus and Satan had a conversation. Satan is real. Clear as perfect glass.

Mat. 4:1-11
4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”

5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:

‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’

and,

‘In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”

7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”

8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

#5. Every Christian has the commission from Jesus to go forth and spread the gospel.

Mark 16:15, "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

#6. The Bible isn't a Buffet Line, where someone picks and chooses what they like and what they think in real. It is an all or nothing proposition.

2 Timothy 3:16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Satan can be both a specific spiritual being and it can be a personification of evil and of our own wrong thoughts and urges (which makes more sense in many places).

"Go to the world and preach" was said to apostles, not to every Christian.

2Tm 3:16 says that Scripture (not Bible) is profitable etc. It does not say "accurate in everything". Just compare two gospels and you will find plenty of inaccuracies.

RaptureToBeSoon, your point is interesting and valid, though I'd claim that having a Biblical World view entails more than just the six doctrines you listed.

Although your Barna poll shows a lower number than other polls I've cited, there's no doubt that respect for the Bible's authority (as a reliable, historically accurate, revelation of God's Word) is declining each decade. I expect this cultural trend from the increasing number of unbelievers in today's society, but to see a majority of professing Christians and Catholics adopting this view is sad and disturbing. Bad enough that our secular culture is undermining the Bible's authority, but unfortunately even most theological universities are contributing to the problem - teaching neo-Darwinian evolution over the Genesis creation account as just one example.

I won't judge Christians or Catholics as saved or not since many of them profess Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, I think the liberal trend of un-Biblical beliefs being accepted by the faith community is shameful and no doubt helping the Devil to achieve his own spiritual warfare upon the truth and faith of Christianity. How so?

Answers in Genesis has contracted out a few good studies that support the OP's claims of a declining belief in the Bible's authority. It shows that the number one reason youths are leaving the Christian faith is because of their exposure to and acceptance of evolution over creation. Once Genesis is discredited, the entire Bible becomes questionable. And once man's word is replaced for God's Word, we lose the faith's foundation and open up the door for all kinds of false beliefs.

Christianity is based upon the Bible's authority, with Jesus, Peter, and Paul each specifically affirming the Old Testament as historical, relevant scriptures to be followed. Those who pick and choose which parts to believe or reject are not following God, but twisting the faith into their own individual form of religion. Even if God forgives the misguided beliefs of these individuals, it's no way to represent the Christian faith, to be a good witness to others, or store up treasures in heaven.

There's certainly room for differing interpretation of many scriptural passages, but the OP's list are basic doctrines that should not be disputed by any Bible believing Christian. The OP's point, and problem I reiterate, is that too many professing believers don't actually believe the foundational scriptures of their claimed faith.
