Please use the scripture you believe supports your view. How does one achieve salvation, by grace, faith or predestination or all of the above? Did Christ accomplish salvation or must a human work accompany the work of Christ?

Romans 9:30-33 NIV
30 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; [31] but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. [32] Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. [33] 33 As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame .”

We are saved by grace through our faith. Ephesians 2:8 We are made to do good works Ephesians 2:10. We are not saved by works and there is nothing that we can do by ourselves that can save us. Everyone has sinned and fallen short, but with the power of Jesus Christ we can receive eternal life when we confess our sins and turn from sin. 1 John 1:9 1 John 3:4. Jesus wants a relationship with us and through that relationship we should start turning over our will and replace it with the will of God, through our relationship with Jesus our thoughts and actions will be changed. Jesus said “If you love Me, keep My commandments” John 14:15. You don’t keep His commandments to be saved, you keep them because you have a changed heart, you keep them because you love. 1 John 5:3. Exodus 20:6 It’s the fruit of ones faith. Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12

I voted by faith because salvation is by faith.

Gal 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Yet faith without works is dead.

Jas 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Amen (Also see 1Cor 15:1-4)

Great point.
We are saved by Grace through faith, there’s a little more than just accepting Jesus, but its the first step! The Bible is our manual on how to be saved and it’s important to read it for ourselves so we will not be deceived when hearing people who claim to be of God, but not teaching the scriptures which we are warned about. Isaiah 8:20 We build our relationship with Jesus though reading and studying His Word, prayer, worship and devotion. Too many people miss this important piece and don’t read their bibles or spend time in prayer.

God bless!

Why do you say, "achieve"? Or what do you mean by it?

No one "achieves" salvation. It is God's gift. If I try to make a car, I will never get there because I don't have the skills or resources. If I buy a car, it is a cost to me, even if someone else makes it. If I'm given a car, then I have nothing to do but be thankful and to learn how to drive it. Salvation is a gift. Romans 5:15 and many other verses make this clear.

"God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:4-10

Scriptures indicates that it is grace that ultimately saves us, and that faith and good works are the fruits of God's unmerited favor. Whether you believe that faith plus works, or faith alone, saves, we must recognize that they both stream forth from the same source of divine grace. We cannot claim one or the other, they are the manifestation of God's love toward us.

Grace leads to faith, faith leads to works, and works leads to vindication—and this vindication determines who has received God's grace.

You cannot build a relationship until you have one and you cannot have one unless you are saved. You confuse being saved from death which, is what Christ died to save us from (the result of our sin) and being saved from our ignorance and the evil of this world. You cannot work out a salvation you do not have. (Phil.2:12)

But does even dead faith save?

If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Everyone is already saved (most don't know it) by the finished work of the cross.

Romans 5:18-19
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,
so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Sorry, but this is nonsense.

Anyone can build a relationship with God by reading His Word, praying, worship and devotion. Spending time with God. In doing these things to be saved won’t save you as God looks at the heart, but not doing these things won’t save you either as Jesus has to know us (1 John 2:3-5, Matthew 7:21-23). God wants our hearts turned from stone into a heart of flesh. It starts by our relationship with God, which starts by His Word. To discourage people from building a relationship unless they are in a saved state is not biblical.

No one knows if they are saved and thats why the New Testament uses the word “hope” Hebrews 3:6, Hebrews 6:1, Hebrews 6:19, Hebrews 10:23 Hebrews 11:13 1 Thessalonians 5:8 2 Thessalonians 2:16 just a few examples, the NT is filled with hope. You can follow the Bible perfectly, follow the law perfectly, but if you are doing it to be saved and not transformed by the Holy Spirit you might be surprised at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Jews followed the letter, but missed that Jesus was the One prophesied in scripture.

It starts with faith. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Faith is defined as:
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

We gain faith by:

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

You can have faith that you are saved, but many people deceive themselves thinking they don’t need to follow scripture, basically saying they can save themselves. The Bible is God’s Word to us and the manual on how we can be with God forever. Sin separated us from God in the garden and our faith which is evident by our fruits (obedience, love, joy, peace etc.) and by the power of God’s grace we can be with Him again at His Second Coming and have eternal life.
