Interesting. Can a person survive with other forms of vitamin B that are not B12? And if a person took vitamin B12 supplements would they still be considered vegan? And what if a person was allergic to vitamin B?
B12 is actually a vitamin B can be found naturally in dirt hence why animal products have it. If we didn't wash our food before eating it we'd probably get a source of vitamin B12 too. That being said vegans can easily get it from fortified cereal vegan milks and nutritional yeast.

It is simple enough for little children,
as Jesus says clearly,
and as Jesus says is revealed to little children (but hidden from the specialists)
revealed to the little children
BY THE FATHER FROM HEAVEN. We can always TRUST THE HEAVENLY FATHER,
and Jesus.
Did Jesus ever order us to be vegan or vegetarian?
That would be news ....

No!

It can be very un-healthy.
It can be if you don't eat the right kinds of food. Then again, so can any diet. Many vegans (myself included) have been living like this for years without any health problems. I personally eat a variety of whole foods and I exercise regularly. It also helps that I don't smoke and I only drink alcohol in moderation.

A strict whole food plant based diet is vegan, and that's as healthy a diet as you can get. Whole plant foods and nothing but whole plant foods.

I dis-agree strongly!
A strict whole food plant diet is complete un-natural.

A small, but vocal number of people are vegans. Becoming vegan is the only way to save the world, apparently. However, there is a problem. It is a vitamin, B12. It is found only in meat or meat derived products. Symptoms of B12 deficiency include:

Weakness, tiredness, or light-headedness.
Heart palpitations and shortness of breath.
Pale skin.
A smooth tongue.
Constipation, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, or gas.
Nerve problems like numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, and problems walking.
Vision loss.
I'm real glad that I'm having roast beef for dinner tonight.

I agree!
Living strictly vegan is for health fanatics only - not for normal human beings!

What about it is 'complete' un-natural?
Everything - the whole idea is completely un-natural.
And I do not like the vegan attitude of: "I am holier that thou!"
Vegans think that they are even holier than Jesus!

Fine if you are a cow. Humans are omnivorous. Be vegan if you wish. But don't pretend that it's any healthier than any properly balanced diet.

Why would humans need to eat meat to survive (other than B12 which can be supplemented)?

Depends on how miserable and deprived you want to be. Why not eat meat? I live, not just survive.

Because for example in winters there were no plants to eat.

Humanity did not have all possible plants from all over the world in every season. Thats why we developed to eat various foods.
