... Because the draft should be abolished. Why drag women into this unjust practice?
If men and women feel the need to take up arms to protect their interests; let them make that choice for themselves. A well regulated militia is necessary for a free state; but you don't see me forcing people to carry a gun.

But who said anything about 18 year olds? For that matter who said anything about any of the worst case scenarios you thought up?
All I said is that I think every able bodied man ought to serve. You got a whole lot out of that simples statement.

I like the idea of an all volunteer force ( could not serve myself due to my CP though I wanted to so badly. Having said that, if you are going to have a draft either because we need people or because that is how this country were to decide to start doing it women need to be drafted along with men

I say no, because some women are raise to believe. That they were born to have a bunch of kids, to serve their husband, and their God. Not all men should be drafted. Some are to weak and some men don't believe in war.
