I’m not in the video. I forgot to italicize the comment. But I fixed it. :)

Ok.
Since you said, "I have compiled this ultimate substitution list", I thought maybe it was your own site you linked to.

Brutal 97+ degrees outside this afternoon. UV is in the danger mode.
Plants don't like to pollinate at this temp.

Wanna trade places? It's only in the mid 50s here this weekend, chances of frost during the nights, and an expectations of hopefully getting into the 60s the first few days of next week. That's the weather now in Wisconsin.

That's just about enough time to harvest a sorghum crop:

The Meredith Mississippi Experiment Station has such varieties as M81E, Dale (100-day maturity), and Thesis. Milsap (named after Milsap, Texas) is a 90-day syrup sorghum.

Syrup Sorghums for Texas - Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service

I've had a rough year. A freeze killed off an acre of my baby broccoli. If it had just been a little more mature; I should have had a wonderful yield. I then timed the planting of an acre of tomato seeds. I timed it perfectly. I got in the ground the day before a rain. However, the rain was light, and there wasn't enough rain to follow, to germinate.

I've seen sorghum growing in my area; and it seems to do well under adverse conditions.

When the woman being interviewed in this video mentioned that there was always bread and syrup on the table, as she grew up during the Great Depression, it motivated me to take a long hard look at sorghum.

I suggested alternatives for a reason. Most consumers are looking for modern wheat. Few buy other varieties save those with health issues or dietary preferences.

That includes amaranth, barley, buckwheat, corn (dent), einkorn, emmer, farro, freekah, millet, quinoa, spelt, sorghum, and teff.

We have often said that it seems these "perfect storm" sort of occurrences could not be happening by accident or chance. Somebody or something is behind it pulling the strings.
I believe that nature will rise up, in some instances, to drive people out of the land because of blasphemes and abominations.
I believe we are there.
