These invaders are no different from any other invading horde throughout history; they come in essence to take, what we’re fool enough to give them, and don’t give a squat about being an American citizen for any other reason but that.

I’m sorry, but this “opinion” is repugnant to the America in which I reside.

That is exactly what the indigenous Indians in North America said when all the invaders came!

The country was made on immigration. Today, the selfish have shut the door and say 'we are full'

My interest is in how the old invaders acted compared to the new invaders.
A 'new or at least different' country was made on immigration, but it was legal imigration, selfish has nothing to do with it.

No, please, tell us more about what those perfidious invaders believe.

I only know what I’d be thinking if I was in their shoes and leaving a country that I had not contributed to, or changed the living conditions in any beneficial way. Patriotism in a new country probably wouldn’t be way up there on my list. It may be somewhere below free housing, free food, free health care, free spending money, and really good living conditions that someone else had sacrificed for. Look, I’m ready to move on from this conversation; these poor people are in trouble, and now so are we.

Which, given your very different backgrounds is likely very different from what they are thinking. Having several co-workers who were refuges I know it is different from the thoughts they expressed.

What on earth are you talking about?

Look, I’m ready to move on from this conversation; these poor people are in trouble, and now so are we.

How are we in trouble?

What invading horde set out with the goal to sell their labor to those in the lands they are "invading"?

Legal? Yes the indigenous inhabitants before the European invasion of North America had a piece of paper saying it was illegal. It may have not even been a piece of paper, but the thought was the same. The term illegal is from lawyers, and meant nothing at the time. But go ahead and continue to apply current law to what happened hundreds of years ago, because it is somewhat entertaining.

Yes we are, with a fact-free stance like that about immigration.

What a ‘smack in the face’ to all the legal immigrants, especially the cost part and wait time for benefits. And, what about our citizens who don’t qualify for benefits, they’d all be better off to go to the southern border and get in the fast-track line.

It is amazing how people claim that border crossing is some 'fast-track' to an easy life - showered with money, homes, benefits and a life fit for a king! We do it so they can vote for democrats! :)
I can't imagine where people got such a distorted view of poor desperate people at the border.

What did Trump say again? "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

I guess I do see where people got the distorted view....

Why would the successful, productive people of Mexico, and other places, want to leave in a caravan? Think about what you're saying.
