Interesting, op. I hope you were able to find a doctor! We are fortunate and have a gp office in our neighborhood with a long time family doctor. He always seems to have time for us. We are in a busy section of nyc. Amazingly I've been able to get right in to see doctors for whatever this year. When I lived in Atlanta ten years ago, doctors had long wait periods up to months even as established patients. My mom says it's only gotten worse in that area. It seems rural areas are faring worse with shortages in the medical field. Also one of my good friends in Atlanta was a nurse, but is quitting in may. She says she can't take the stress and daily verbal abuse anymore. She loved her job and made good money, but it's just not worth it anymore to her.

Most were not nurses and doctors, but janitors and others in unskilled labor areas.
The Post is like the Enquirer and exaggerates the situation.
The same was reported in my area, however again, it wasn't nurses, doctors or even CNA's.

you'd be surprised how easily people can figure out who people are by tidbits of info shared on forums
I've been on other forums
some individuals figured out who some people were on one forum & posted their names/FB accts on private area of similar forum!
