We adopted this guy who now is 7 months old, 65 pounds and gnawing on our old furniture.

Dogs are like that, some worse than others. A co worker had some friends from the city drop by their farm with their two Labs. They thought it was an optimum time to let them run free. During the ride home they vomited the cow patties they ate while enjoying their freedom.

It will be a ymmv when it comes to training them out of that behavior. You might want to consult a dog training expert.

I Love puppies! And I must have them around all the time! .............So I visit the pet store every chance I get.

They require more time and attention than I can give right now.....so it is best to love them from afar.

I did same thing for my two Dogs when they were Puppies

My son brought a pup home recently. My 6 years old cat is not impressed with him! Son is realizing just how much work a pup is.

I wanted a puppy or dog in general but I could not get one anywhere because people have got greedy with prices and everybody is wanting dogs now. Even rescue dogs are very hard to get to impossible. I gave up and rescued 3 rabbits instead but I can't exactly take them out for walks or interact with them like I would a dog. It gives me something to cuddle now and sit with.

My son's "puppy" weighs around 65 pounds at the age of 6 months! I'll be hitching him to a sled this winter to see if how well he can mush! He looks smaller in this pic 'cause he's looking at my pocket for treats!

I remember the first day i brought home my pet human. Even now, after many years, he refuses to stop peeing indoors!!!
