You don't have to ask them, they already know. Telling people not to talk about it will not deter anyone from their sexual or gender preference. It only makes them more ashamed about it. Maybe that's the whole point of it.
Ashamed and afraid.

If they already know then why do we need a lesson plan about it?

I guess parents do have the right to be prejudiced. It's too bad when its against their own kids

Parents have a right to raise their kids and teach their values. The state doesn't. If parents want to teach their kids that they are trans then that's their business.

School is for teaching education not for indoctrination.

You don't NEED to talk about it in a classroom of kindergartners. Teachers don't have to share anything if their own private lives to the kids. They are their to educate them not indoctrinate them. I didn't know anything about my teachers private lives. It didn't matter. I still got a good education.

and you believe that showing anyone in any role that isn't white and straight is somehow damaging to children.

I can see the headline now: "Disney movie shows a brown person in a crowd scene....millions of children traumtized. Parents demand appology from Disney"
:sigh:
Yeah that's going to happen. :ebil:

and blacks and hispanics and asians and Jews and Muslims and Hindus and people in wheelchairs and Native Americans and all sort of other undesireables

We already have seen many of those. And guess what, no one cared. They never confused kids or indocrinated them.

No kids started asking questions about if they are really Asian. No one asked "why is that back man white?".

There was no indoctrination of kids going on like there is now.

So Van Zant just came out with a new song called "Sweet Florida" in dedication to Governor DeSantis.

Can listen to it here on the official site:

FOX news did an interview clip with them and DeSantis here:

You don't seem to understand that nobody needs to be "taught" to be gay or trans. Schools talk about reality and society. To ignore that gay people have equal rights does not prevent kids from having same sex attraction.

TO talk about homosexuality is not to indoctrinate. To force gay kids to be straight and give them no voice is to indoctrinate.

Having rights means "prejudiced"? Ooookay! :p

No kid between the ages of 5 and 8 is remotely interested in sex. Why are you so determined that the subject be forced upon them at such an early age?

And no one does.

Why do you focus on sex SO much?

I'm not the one marching in sex parades, or pushing legislation to talk to little kids about sex, or claiming to be one of the 52 different invented perversions as a way to use sex to become a "victim".
But you are here pushing the idea that little kids have to be talked to about sexually perverse topics. Why is that?

Oh puhleeze we have already seen how the pride parades get sexualized with people modeling sex acts and walking around naked.
I've been to more than a dozen pride parades....but I've never seen that. Again why do you insert sex into everything?

but they do just by being there. I knew my first grade teacher was pregnant. I knew my 4th grade teacher was a widow and had two grown sons and four grandchildren. I knew my 6th grade teacher had two teenage boys and the previous summer they had traveled to the Grand Canyon...trip pictures made a nice addition to a geography lesson

If you didn't know anything about your teachers that just means you were not paying attention
