[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] I'm being exposed to gay people! Quick, somebody pass a law! That will ensure my child won't be gay! I'm sure this law will stop homosexuality in its tracks. I mean nobody is gay until they are taught to be gay by a Liberal teacher right?

What we see in the quoted post is a symptom of propaganda. Some people like the "Don't say gay" propaganda line so much that they forget that what they're really opposing is the "Parental Rights in Education", which is the actual name of the law.
Maybe they simply oppose parental rights. They might believe the government has more rights than parents do.

A woman is an adult female human.

20 years ago no one would have questioned that.
No one in the history of the world would have questioned that. Except for in the last few years, by a group of very vocal radicals. Now suddenly they are claiming there are 52 genders.

AFAIK no one is here saying homosexuality or "same-sex attraction," as some conservative Christians call it, is a choice.
I only speak for myself here, but I am saying that young children can be influenced so that they are more likely to become LGBTQ. There is recently released footage of a Disney corporate president saying she has two "queer" children, one a transexual and one a pansexual. I'm wondering how these kids were raised that this leftist activist California woman somehow beats the odds and has two queer children. I'm betting it is not a coincidence.

And someone explain to me why a kindergarten student needs to know what a pansexual is?

This Disney president wants 50% of all Disney characters to be LGBTQ or minority by the end of the year, with more LGBTQ leads. Disney was once a company that made family entertainment, now look at them. Parents need to hold them accountable.

Speaking for myself, no, I don't believe that. I grew up with close family members who were/are LGBT. What is wrong with teaching tolerance and mutual respect and kindness, rather than telling 8 year olds that they should think about what gender they identify as "today"?

An NBC News poll indicates that 20% of Millennials identify with the LGBT crowd. That's not really all that surprising when you think about it. They're the ones being taught in school that it's such a great group to be a part of, and that you get to be a "victim" and claim special protections that others don't get. You get to demand that others view you the way you want them to, and you get to call people "haters, bigots, homophobe, etc...." and get away with it if you don't get your way.
What kid in school doesn't want to be with the "in crowd", or get special accommodations?
20 percent of millennials identify as LGBTQ, GLAAD survey finds

But then they wouldn't be able to promote the LGBTQ agenda. They want to get at these kids and poison their minds before they're old enough to form a thought for themselves.

As we have seen in the links I provided the whole bully thing is just a vehicle the schools are using to promote the LGBTQ ideas. They don't really need that to fight bullying.

What a complete load of garbage

Recently the republican controlled Michigan legislature pushed through a bill endorsing school bullying at least bullying of LGBT kids. The bill would allow students, teachers, and other school employees to claim that “a sincerely held religious belief or moral conviction” justifies their harassment and abuse of LGBT students. It would stop any requirement that school districts to report bullying incidents, disallow teacher training, and would allow teachers who did exactly what you are saying above to be disciplined or fired for interfering in the rights of those doing the bullying. Thank God it was vetoed.

Sure it did.

Sorry. Meant to add that while I don't think being LGBT is caused by teaching, I think that this sort of teaching can lead to periods of unnecessary confusion that may be painful for those involved.

Absolutely! Kids that age don't need to be indoctrinated about questioning their gender.

When I was growing up we went to school and learned about English Math Science etc. We had girls in our classes that really liked boy stuff. We called them tomboys and they were fun to have around. We didn't run around wondering what gender they were. We had boys that were more feminine I guess. We didn't run around wondering what gender they were. The girls were still girls and the boys were still boys.

School is not for trying to reach kids that they might be trans or bi or gay or whatever. Especially at young ages where their minds are more susceptible to that indoctrination.

There is something going very wrong there. What on earth is that woman teaching kids? If she wants 50% of characters to be LGBTQ and has two kids like that, there is influence involved.

When's the last time you saw someone get a parade because they were heterosexual?

I get that you don't care but here is what she actually said "50 percent of regular and recurring characters across the Disney universe will come from underrepresented groups." Kary Burke 3/30/22

Heterosexuals should be glad they don't need one.

Nobody needs a parade to show how they have sex, unless they are that insecure with who they are.
Nobody needs to see it either.

"Underrepresented groups" is leftist dog whistle for "anyone not white or straight".
The rest will never believe they are "represented" enough.

Meaning we will see lots and lots of gay, bi, lesbian and trans, queer etc characters.

Thus teaching kids to start questioning who they are.

I guess parents do have the right to be prejudiced. It's too bad when its against their own kids

You don't have to ask them, they already know. Telling people not to talk about it will not deter anyone from their sexual or gender preference. It only makes them more ashamed about it. Maybe that's the whole point of it.

and you believe that showing anyone in any role that isn't white and straight is somehow damaging to children.

I can see the headline now: "Disney movie shows a brown person in a crowd scene....millions of children traumtized. Parents demand appology from Disney"
