Last week, Ukrainian TV host Fakhrudin Sharafmal on his show cited Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann calling for extermination of all Russians including children, and his Fascist speech caused widespread concern and panic, especially among many Russian civilians.

UN Human Rights Office condemns Ukrainian host's call to kill Russian children
That's a shameful thing to say... but I don't think it's really equivalent to Russians literally killing Ukrainian children.

"902 civilians been killed, 1,459 wounded so far in Ukraine war • 3,528,346 Ukrainians fled abroad so far."

article-701992

"Population-based studies produce estimates of the number of Iraq War casualties ranging from 151,000 violent deaths as of June 2006 (per the Iraq Family Health Survey) to 1,033,000 excess deaths (per the 2007 Opinion Research Business (ORB) survey). Other survey-based studies covering different time-spans find 461,000 total deaths (over 60% of them violent) as of June 2011 (per PLOS Medicine 2013), and 655,000 total deaths (over 90% of them violent) as of June 2006 (per the 2006 Lancet study)."

Putin is not a good person and Ukrainians are suffering and dying. But exaggerations and talk of genocide does not help. We need to study history, cool down our nerves, and pray for world peace.

This is exactly what I mean. Let's pray for peace and an end to all war and violence!

I wonder how many political parties in Russia there are that have Ukrainian ties and support?
Perhaps one of the Russian supporters could fill us in as I was unable to find out.

Ukraine suspends 11 political parties with links to Russia

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky Combines All National TV Channels To Combat Alleged ‘Misinformation’

This is the "freedom and democracy" that the Ukranian army is defending. We all know what the reaction of the lying over here would be if Putin ever did anything like that - which, of course, he hasn't.

No, it's easier to shut down the Russian news organizations by threatening to imprison anyone up to 15 years who doesn't parrot the government talking points. It's a "Special Operation" comrade....or else.

Everyone condemned what he said. Including the owner of the TV station:

“Farid, in an emotional outburst, declared that he was ready to personally kill all Russians, not only invaders who came to our land … but also everyone else, along with their children. Subsequently, having mastered his emotions, the very next day Sharafmal also apologized on the air and expressed sincere remorse that he had said such terrible things, and stated that this was incompatible with journalism and, in general, with the principles of humanity,” Andreyko added.

According to him, the reason for the failure of the journalist is the loss of a dear person.

However, Kremlin propagandists do not care about words of forgiveness! They took the disgraced words out of context, added a photo of the Nazi ideologist (!!) to the video, and fanned the scandal, using this case as evidence of the “Nazification” and “nationalism” of Ukrainians,” Andreyko said.

“Fakhrudin is an Afghan by nationality, and his accusations of Nazism, Nazisification, and nationalism are as meaningless as all Kremlin propaganda. And only an audience poisoned by this propaganda can take all this seriously. On behalf of the entire staff of channel 24, I apologize for the unfortunate incident on the air, where the emotions of the presenter took precedence over common sense and a real attitude to the values of life and worldview, ”wrote the CEO of Lux media holding.'

A big thanks from Putin for posting comments like that with no context and treating them seriously. Something I'd expect from state tv in Russia, pumping out anti-Ukraine propaganda. But not on a Christian forum.

What in heaven's name is going on with all these pro-Russia and anti-Ukraine posts? I cannot fathom it.

Exactly the same thing applies. You need to read your news articles with a little more care and stop spreading misonformation yourself.

I suspect Britain would have banned a pro-Hitler party during the Blitz in WWII. And they would be justified in doing so. They would be agents of an enemy nation currently waging war. The Zelensky government enjoys widespread popular support, which shows that these banned parties do not really represent to will of the people. Today I head that in one formerly pro-Russian city just taken by the Russian, instead of being greeted as liberators, the Russians are finding that the population is violently opposing occupation. And this was one of the pro-Russian cities to begin with, so the "pro-Russian" support evaporated when the people saw how evil the Russian government was.

@Dmitryet people are not their nation’s leaders. They can choose a different path. Your government is lying to you. Your leaders started this war and invaded a sovereign nation unprovoked. Your leaders are indiscriminately killing women and children. Your leaders are committing war crimes. You can choose to stop them or you can choose to be a war criminal with them. The choice is yours.

To clarify my position. If you are on the team of doctors facing a malignant problem. I can have an opinion that the major operation could be avoided. But if the team leader decides to do so, I will assist as best I can. And it is not up to the West to prevent it which has provoked the problem with hypocrisy.
Luckily, the russian army is getting beaten handily at the moment.

You Westerners provoke the conflict between the Russians (Ukrainians are part of the Russians and in Germany you surely know it) with the evil passion of evil.

No. Ukrainians are Ukrainians. They are not Russian, but their own independent people. And with this war, not even the Ukrainians who were sympathetic to Russia are so anymore thanks to the brutal bombing of the civilian areas where they live.

We need to study history

I'm old enough to remember some history. I fell for the WMD story and there were a lot of Iraqi civilian casualties. And who set the precedent for attack on civilians during war? Germany bombed London. We bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima. And helped the Brits bomb Dresden. I'm afraid no country holds the moral high ground in this respect. So yes, we need to study history.
