No John, it is not me that is confused, and no there was nothing that you posted that addressed any of the contradictions outlined in post # 337 linked that was already addressed in the linked posts that were already provided within post # 337 linked

In this case Yakob a.k.a. "James" is using nomos in the same sense as it is meant in the Hebrew word torah, which means instruction, teaching. And what the Word has shown me in my studies is that this is the torah-instruction-teaching of liberty:

James 2:12-13 KJV
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For [G1063 gar, assigning a reason, "because"] he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

In simpler words the one who has shown no mercy shall receive judgment without mercy. Where do we read this torah-teaching-instruction? It is found in the torah-instruction-teaching concerning prayer, (in the Luke account one of his disciples asks him to teach them how to pray, Luke 11:1).

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

That's it, the torah-teaching of the Messiah called the law of liberty: forgive others, and ask the Father to forgive you as you forgive others, and you will be forgiven. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses then neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

There is therefore no need to even hint at abolishing or doing away with the Torah-Word of the Father. The "law of liberty" cancels out the mistakes of children who are learning to understand and walk in the Light of the Torah-Word of the Father.

The Father loves His children. A loving father doesn't kick his children to the curb for making a mistake in the house rules when the children are simply learning the ways in which their father wants them to walk and behave themselves.

Here let me help you here and show why there is nothing in this post that you provided earlier that addresses the contradictions pointed out to you earlier in post # 337 (that was also posted earlier). Let's go through the questions and look at your responses if it might be helpful.
1. Subject matter and context was over the question "Is circumcision from the law of Moses a requirement for the salvation of new gentile believers and it was this question that Paul and Barnabas went to Jerusalem to discuss with the Apostles - Acts of the Apostles 15:1-2. I am not sure if you understood the question. I pointed out the scripture context and subject matter of Acts of the Apostles 15 in the question above from Acts of the Apostles 15:1-2 which states that Paul an Barnabas went to Jerusalem to discuss the question; "Is circumcision from the law of Moses a requirement for the salvation of new gentile believers?" So in providing the scripture context and subject matter the chapter is showing that "circumcision" from the law of Moses was being taught as a requirement for the salvation of the new gentile believers. Not is God's 10 commandment still the standard of sin when broken and right doing when obeyed (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4). The question was asking you to prove from the scriptures of Acts of the Apostles 15 from the scriptures alone (not reading into scripture) that it is talking about God's 10 commandments being abolished? - You have not done that here in your response. Can you see that "circumcision" from the law of Moses was the question being considered here and not God's 10 commandments? Your first response does not show from the scripture contexts of Acts of the Apostles 15 that it is talking about God's 10 commandments. The links in and scriptures within question three are showing that Jesus and all the Apostles taught and upheld Gods' 10 commandments and all of Gods' 10 commandments are repeated all through the new covenant as the standard of good (moral wrong doing) and evil (moral wrong doing) but your interpretation of Acts of the Apostles 15 is in disagreement with nearly all the new testament as shown in the supporting scriptures in question 3 (see also further scripture support provided here linked and here linked). All you did in your response as to make an argument no one is arguing about in order to avoid the contradiction of your interpretation that Acts of the Apostles is talking about God's 10 commandments being abolished. Who ever said to you that we are justified by law keeping and if we are both in agreement that we are not justified by the law then what is your argument? - You have no argument before we are both in agreement. This does still not address your contradictory view that Acts of the Apostles 15 is talking about God's 10 commandments being abolished while Jesus, the Apostles and all the new testament teaches the opposite of your interpretation of Acts of the Apostles 15 now does it? After the decision of Jerusalem some time latter Paul says to the Corinthian gentile believer "circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing but the keeping of the commandments of God" in 1 Corinthians 7:19. Please reconcile the contradiction of your view that God's 10 commandments being abolished with Paul telling the Corinthian gentiles that circumcision does not matter but keeping the commandments of God does matter in 1 Corinthians 7:19 - you haven't done that.

John there is no assumption and you have not even bothered to answer this question. If you read the whole chapter of 1 Corinthians 7 it is addressing gentile believers and the subject matter is marrying and not marrying and what is sin and what is not sin by being married. Sin is defined in the scriptures as breaking any one of God's 10 commandments (see James 2:10-11; 1 John 3:4; Romans 7:7 or unbelief see Romans 14:23). So the context in 1 Corinthians 7:19 not long after the Jerusalem decision is to gentile believers where Paul says in verse 19 after talking about marriage and not seeking a partner compares the same with circumcision *1 Corinthians 7:18 saying that circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing but the keeping of the commandments of God is everything. So let me tell you there is no mention here of love although it would not make any difference because love is simply obedience to Gods commandments from the heart. So tell me is Gods 10 commandments not the commandments of God in your view? I think you will agree once more that your response here does not answer question four.

You are also disregarding scripture context that shows that the law of liberty being referred to is God's 10 commandments obeyed from the heart through faith that works by love in James 2:8-12 and also demonstrated in Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 5:2-3 and in the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40.

An interpretation that Acts of the Apostles 15 is talking about Gods' 10 commandments being abolished is a contradictions of scripture because...

I decided to go through all your answers in this post taken from your earlier post to show from the scriptures why you did not answer a single question from post # 337 linked in post # 363 linked above. You have a bit of catching up to do. Post # 363 linked above proves from the scriptures why you did not address the questions and the contradictions to your interpretation of Acts of the Apostles 15 being God's 10 commandments being abolished as shown earlier in post # 337 linked.

I realize this is probably falling on deaf ears.

I agree that the 10 commandments and Jesus's commentary on the 10 commandments are a good gauge as to whether or not something is a sin. However, I don't see anywhere where Jesus commands his disciples to keep the 10 commandments - rather multiple times he reminds them to keep His commandments.

From reading the letter (Acts 15:23-29) without preconceptions it is clear that the Church fathers did not command the Gentile believers to keep the 10 commandments other than to abstain from sexual immorality. That's not a problem for me because Jesus never commanded his disciples to keep the law or 10 commandments. Believers emphasis should be on following NT directives. If you abstain from sexual immorality and follow 1 John 3:23 you should be good.

The Sabbath was given to the Jews. Given Acts 15, I believe the Sabbath should be treated as principle and not a law. So in other words, give it a rest.

Love is not separate from Gods' law. Love is expressed in obedience to God's law which is why Jesus says on these two great commandments of love to God and love to man hang all the law and the prophets *Matthew 22:36-40. Love is only summarizing obedience to God's 10 commandments from the heart which is God's new covenant promise (see Romans 13:8-10; Hebrews 8:10-12 from Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Ezekiel 36:24-27 and compare to James 2:8-12 and 1 John 5:2-3). The first four commandments of God's 10 commandments show us how we are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind and the second six of the ten commandments show us how we are to love our neighbor as our self (see Romans 13:8-10 and James 2:8-12).

You might want to consider that Jesus (not me) says that the Sabbath was made for all mankind in Mark 2:27. There was no Jew, no Israel, no Moses, no law because there was no sin when God made the Sabbath for all mankind. There was only Adam and Eve who were made on the sixth day of the creation week (see Genesis 1:26-31 and Genesis 2:1-3).

AFTER JESUS' DEATH, HIS DISCIPLES OBSERVED THE SABBATH:

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment." (Luke 23:55-56) [ This occured after Jesus' death obviously, which is when the false teachers claim the law was done away. They say the law was "nailed to the cross", but His disciples obviously didn't believe that, as we see here, they "rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment"]

when they (the apostles) departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day." (Acts 13:14)

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath." (Acts 13:42) [Notice: the Gentiles (non-jews) wanted to hear the word of God on the next Sabbath. Paul DID NOT tell them, "Come back tomorrow, the first day of the week, because that's the day us Christians keep." He had them return the following SABBATH]

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. (Acts 13:44)

For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. (Acts 15:21)

And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made. (Acts 16:13)

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures. (Acts 17:2)

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. (Acts 18:4)

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. (Hebrews 4:4) [See Ephesians 5:1 where it states that we are to be imitators of God.]

There remaineth therefore a SABBATH Rest [See margin: Greek word is "Sabbatismos" which means "Sabbath-keeping"] to the people of God." (Hebrews 4:9)

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 66:22-23) [I realize this is an OT scripture, BUT as you can clearly see here, this is dealing with the NEW heavens and earth (after Christ's return) and it states that ALL shall keep the Sabbath then.

It seems quite preposterous, that God would give the seventh day Sabbath to mankind at creation (Genesis 2:1-3), re-introduce it to Israel BEFORE Sinai - after they lost sight of it in captivity (Exodus 16:4-23; 27-29), codify it at Sinai (Exodus 20:1-17) having all His people observe it, including Christ, then change it to Sunday, just to change it back to Friday sunset - Saturday sunset.

THE SABBATH HAS NEVER CHANGED AND IS STILL TO BE OBSERVED!

God's 10 Commandments give us a KNOWLEDGE of what sin is. SIN is the breaking of God's Commandments (James 2:9-11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4) Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

Show me where the Jesus commanded his disciples to specifically keep the 10 commandments, as opposed to His commandments.
Although you show many passages where Jesus speaks about the 10 commandments. You did not show any passage where He tells His disciples to keep the 10 commandments.

Jesus told His disciples that "I give you a new commandment" and he did give them many directives. So references by Jesus of keeping my commandments are not speaking of the 10 commandments.

Outside of abstaining from sexual immorality, the Church fathers did not command the Gentile believers to keep the 10 commandments in their letter to them that addresses whether they need to be circumcised and keep the law (Acts 15:23-29).

Again I have addressed many of your posts. You cannot accept how I addressed them because I did not tell you anything you wanted to hear.

Here perhaps this will help. If someone is living in a life of known unrepentant sin committing adultery or murder, are they transgressors of God's law and are they in a saved state with God or an unsaved state with God. (scriptures provided as a help *see 1 John 3:4; James 2:10-11; Hebrews 10:26-31)

Take me as the example, if I choose to worship God on Sunday, am I a sinner?
Keep in mind that I am a Gentile.

Psalms 119:45 I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.

You are also disregarding scripture context that shows that the law of liberty being referred to is God's 10 commandments obeyed from the heart through faith that works by love in James 2:8-12 and also demonstrated in Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 5:2-3 and in the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40.

That is not a new law: it is the correct understanding of the original statute. Thus the covenant is renewed by the Testimony of the Messiah.

It should really be realized that this law of love in which Jesus spoke what this says is new law is stricter than what was understood more simply from the old law. That would not really mean that law is done away with. It does mean there is more meant that should be understood from the commandments.

In the case of the fourth commandment, in the new testament of the Bible we find that the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath, and while resting instead of working from which we have gain, it is still right to do good, such as helping another, whether human or a nonhuman animal, who is in need, and the real rest we are to have in the Sabbath of which we are told to remember it is holy is in Jesus Christ, such that it could be properly obeyed only since he came and any of us who are believers have faith in him.
