It is the prerogative of the President whom to nominate, it necessarily discriminates against all those who are qualified, but do not get selected.
You used the pronoun "her." Does that mean you are suggesting the person is a woman? What "design" makes her a woman as opposed to a man?

So a uterus is a defining factor of a female and should be referred to as She/her. What if Clarance Thomas identified as a woman. Would she be the first black woman Supreme Court Justice?
The act of selecting a nominee to be a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America is always a discriminating process…what do you fail to understand about that?
I honestly don't think so. The Democrats lothe diversity of thought and despise anyone who doesn't think as they do. If such a hypothetical scenario were to come to fruition, it would be likely that the progressive mob would attack and slander Clarissa Thomas as a fraud. "We want a black woman...just not that one."
I am trying so hard to keep on topic. But I think it is seriously ironic and sad that the same people who demand a black woman on the Supreme Court can't even tell me what a "woman" is.

We have a black and three females on the bench already. Having a black female is not going to bring much to the table that isn't already there. After all, white women have the right to speak on behalf of all racial minorities. So I don't know what the issue is.
