Lord, we heard:
“that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.””
Matthew 8:17 NKJV
Lord Jesus, we stand in what we have heard, that You took Michie’s husband infirmities and bore his diseases. Lord, we believe that You healed Michie’s husband who was sick.
Thank You, Lord, for Your goodness.
Amen.
He was in pain, vomiting, trembling. Very uncomfortable. We found out he does have a very large kidney stone that’s obstructing his urine. There is a lot of blood in it. It’s very large so they have doubts he will be able to pass it. It’s like 7.4 in size and anything over 5 is very difficult to pass. So they are going to give him some flomax to help and pain and anti nausea medication. We need to call the urologist Monday because they think he may need to get a stent put in or get it busted up with sound waves.
Because my husband wants his urologist to do it. It’s in the UVJ the narrowest part of the ureter before it gets to the bladder. My father has had both: a stent and the sound-waves. I'm surprised they're not going to remove it while you're there. Is the stone at the base of the kidney or is it in the ureter? I would be leery about getting sent home with a 7.4 mm stone that's obstructing his urine flow. Did they say specifically why they won't take him down to the O.R. to get it removed or a stent put in?

No he’s home. I trust the doctor’s decision at this point. He is getting more urine out than he was.Eh. I understand him being comfortable with his urologist, but they're not sending him home, right? If it's in the narrowest part, he should be admitted and then the hospital can consult his urologist tomorrow? At least if he's in the hospital if things turn bad, he's there, prepped and ready to go for surgery at any moment.

Yeah he is on some pretty heavy duty pain medication. The Flomax is helping with urination. He is on antibiotics and anti nausea medication as well. They are just trying to get him through until he can get to his urologist. Thanks for the prayers!Okay, glad to know he's doing better. I've just had enough bad experiences that would make me nervous!! Power in prayer! Is his pain better, too?
