Maybe now we don't have to expect everyone to be vaccinated? If we've already had the virus, we're even safer according to the latest data.
(Reuters) - "People who had previously been infected with COVID-19 were better protected against the Delta variant than those who were vaccinated alone, suggesting that natural immunity was a more potent shield than vaccines against that variant, California and New York health officials reported on Wednesday."

Prior COVID infection more protective than vaccination during Delta surge -U.S. study

Did you actually bother to read your own link?

Protection against Delta was highest, however, among people who were both vaccinated and had survived a previous COVID infection, and lowest among those who had never been infected or vaccinated, the study found.

Nevertheless, vaccination remains the safest strategy against COVID-19, according to the report published in U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

Or you could end up dead! More than 850,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the US alone, more than 5,500,000 people have died from COVID-19 worldwide.

Being someone who has been vaccinated is not guarranteed to stop you from catching covid, but there is evidence that it considerably reduces the severity of symptoms, hospitalisations and even the risk of death resulting from Covid. On balance, that makes vaccines sound pretty good to me.

Things could still get a lot worse, if the food supply chain starts breaking down and the nutritional standards of peoples diets start affecting their ability to withstand Covid infections. This is not necessarily an unreasonable possibility.

The truth is we have no way of knowing, how real the risk of this happening. Even enough bad weather can severely impact upon the effective delivery of essential supplies and this together with any risk of panic buying by the public can cause very serious problems. In the UK there is now a very serious shortage of truck drivers, what happens if it gets worse?

I should've put that I'm not against getting the Vax. While they say the best protection is getting boosters after an infection, my point is that having the Vax shouldn't be the only thing we look for. With omnicron being a more mild virus, having natural immunity might just be enough.

Perhaps we ought to mandate both getting covid and being vaccinated as that provides the best protection? Since we already have people saying we need to mandate vaccinations for everyone, even those that have had the virus and fully recovered, we only need then to mandate that anyone that has only been vaccinated be given the virus, so they have the maximum protection in the future. Otherwise, we will surely see a pandemic of the unrecovered which will surely lead to a Spring of death.

While I'm not for mandates, I certainly feel this is a better approach than to force everyone to get the shot.

And then there are those who died because the surgeon removed their heart by accident.

But I still took vaccine and booster shots for the sake of getting ID and freedom of movement.
As did those in scripture in whatever form who wished to buy and sell during the end of days. This was a great test run and shows how easily imposed what we or more likely our offspring may be up against someday. :)

There's way more to it that just a chip. What the scripture is talking about is nothing more than money itself.

The danger is all about your attitude towards money. It is bad if you love money, you want to get rich and spend it way beyond on what is enough to live.

Scripture is not clear on what the mark is but is clear that people must succumb to the will of man and not of God, the very opposite to what the Bible and Jesus taught..

Here’s a recent summary of evidence. Omicron: Is 'natural immunity' better than a vaccine? | DW | 14.01.2022 Whether vaccine or recovery is more effective is unclear, as different studies give different results. They may well be similar. But neither will protect much against Omicron infection, though they probably will against serious outcomes. A booster is needed to protect against infection, whether you were vaccinated or recovered from infection by a previous variant.

What is known is 1) vaccine lessens the effects of Omicron and 2) Omicron is a mutant of Delta and has become an upper respiratory rather than deadly lower respiratory threat, more akin to a serious cold BUT which triggers the body's T cells long term if not lifetime response to SARS, which previous mutants did not.

Not always a cold. One of my staff (unvaccinated) has been out with it for two weeks so far. It turned into pneumonia.
