The state of the American Justice system, if they want you, they will get you. You can be as innocent as a babe. The laws are such that if nothing else, they will break your bank trying to defend yourself. By the time they are done, and if they have their way, the crooks in congress will have us all found guilty of some racism or phobia.

The guy is a broken record. This is what he did at every rally he had - he would drone on over the same stuff every time until even the audience knew what was coming. Going to a Trump rally must have been like going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show....all the usual characters dressed up, and the chants and outbursts on cue....nothing but entertainment from this guy.

They'll have to stand on line behind NYC, NY state, and the DOJ.
There might not be much more punishment that could be meted out by that point.
The NYS is a civil suit to recover the money they were defrauded from receiving.
NYC is pursuing criminal and civil damages.
What more can be done to a bankrupt, disgraced septugenarian after that.
Criminal justice with diminishing returns.

I immediately thought of a line from the 1981 animated Sci-Fi anthology Heavy Metal. From the short, "Captain Sternn":

In the episode, the protagonist is on trial for numerous heinous crimes: 12 counts of murder in the first degree, 14 counts of armed theft of Federation property, 22 counts of piracy in high space, 18 counts of fraud, 37 counts of rape — and one moving violation.

Against the advice of his lawyer, he pleads "not guilty," prompting this response from the lawyer:

"The most we can hope for is to get you buried in secrecy so your grave don't get violated."
