How to make peace with Russia.

1. Make a free trade agreement between Russia and the European Union.

2. Have the World’s Fair in Russia.

3. Make a high speed rail between Moscow and Berlin.

4. Stop expanding NATO in Russia’s backyard.
MAGA-A 2024.

There was once an American high official that tried to extract personal favors from the leader of Ukraine by withholding promised anti-tank weapons. Whatever became of that guy?
He should be in prison, whoever he is. But first, I need a favor.

Russia is a European country.
Most of Russia’s population lives on the European side of Russia.

When Russia trades with the rest of Europe,
The European Union has taxes on those goods.

Russia has no seats in the European Parliament.

Would you call that
Taxation without Representation?

No. Those are called "Tariffs" they are paid on imports from *other* countries. The EU has no internal tariffs, but they do have external tariffs. Pretty standard stuff.

I had to bold this question again. I'd like to form the question in a different way, but I believe that would run against the rules so, instead of that.
If you truly do not understand why this is, ask yourself one question. Is Russia part of the EU?

Do you believe every country has a right to form it's own alliances?

No, because such actions have implications for the security of other countries.

Especially in the case of the Ukraine, which since 2014 has essentially been a US puppet regime.

Really?

Does the United States not have a right to enter into alliances? If not, whose permission does our government need?

Does the United States not have a right to enter into alliances?

Not simply for wanting to, no.

If not, whose permission does our government need?

Obviously, the governments of the other members of the alliance, but also implications of the alliance for world peace have to be considered.

What"a your thoughts on this below;

It set up a new forum: the "NATO-Russia Permanent Joint Council" (PJC) as a venue for consultations, cooperation and consensus building. There was no provision granting NATO or Russia any veto powers over the actions of the other. NATO said it had no plans to station nuclear weapons in the new member states or send in new permanent military forces. The parties stated they did not see each other as adversaries, and, "based on an enduring political commitment undertaken at the highest political level, will build together a lasting and inclusive peace in the Euro-Atlantic area on the principles of democracy and cooperative security".[17]

So I guess nato was lying then.

Peace be to all those in the Body of Christ.
Maybe NATO had no such plans in 1997.

But maybe they later made plans in response to new events.

They didn't then, that's what that quote pulled Wiki is about. It's not even attributed to anyone in part. The agreement that both sides signed had nothing in it that disallowed either side to do that. And like we both said, Crimea changed things as far as troops stationed went.

The pro-Russian propaganda is getting pretty thick in this thread. Weird we'd see so much of it in a thread in the American politics forum. If I didn't know better I might start to think there's some sort of concerted effort by Russian intelligence agencies to push pro-Russian propaganda onto gullible American conservatives on social media.

About 23 percent of Russians are Asian.

Are they allowed in Hollywood movies?

Are you planning on ever responding to anything?
Do you believe that Russia is part of the EU?

Do you believe Russia is part of Europe?

I'll repeat the question, as it's the answer to your question about the Parliament, is Russia part of the EU?
But this, this right here is why your arguements can't be taken seriously. You're unable to answer simple questions, because they'd unravel the flimsy arguements you are making. You're just trying to distract by responding with unrelated questions. I could take some of those as just being made from ignorance, which is fine, but this post right here points in a different direction.
So once more with gusto, is Russia part of the EU?
And as a follow up related to it, what organisation do you think the European Parliament is part of?
