Actually, they have quite a number of others.

Trump, however, is clearly the most popular potential candidate at the present time with Republican voters.

I hope that's true, when Trump ran last time, those running against him were useless. He was an obvious pick since winning matters most in elections, also unfortunate since the US lost in many other ways internationally.

Seriously, it's been reported on a number of different news sources. Of course, that doesn't guarantee that she actually will run, and it's early to talk about 2024.

But there is new speculation, none of which seems to have been damped by any comments from Hillary herself. It shows how weak the Democratic Party "bench" is, though. Who else is there--"Mayor Pete?," the guy who contended in the primaries last time, running on a resume headed by the fact that he once was the mayor of a small Midwestern city? ;)
Yes, I actually think that he would like to be President, but I don't know if he could win the nomination against a woman candidate.

It may depend on the timing. That election followed the defeat of two moderates (McCain and Romney), both of whom virtually quit in the latter stages of their campaigns. The Republican voters really were looking for someone who wouldn't wilt under the battering of the Democratic Party and the media and wouldn't be afraid to fight for Republican political principles.

The field consisted of 17, I think it was, Republicans who were announced candidates and they had good credentials. Most of them, however, were concerned to look presidential and not come across as some kind of rabble rouser. The Republican voters, however, were in the mood for a fighter who would work hard, wouldn't fold under pressure, wouldn't just "take it" when lied about, and etc.

This would be a good thread for the spring/summer as I don’t see Trump running in ‘24, who’d he be willing to play King-maker for?

That wasn't Sen. Clinton looking to run, it was political consultant Doug Schoen and former Manhattan Borough President Andrew Stein bloviating. This article was referencing a Wall Street Journal op-ed.
Note the asterisk - the headline was sarcastically referring to the longtime Republican rousing the rabble. This article was referencing the same Wall Street Journal op-ed.
This article was referencing the same Wall Street Journal op-ed. There was nothing from Clinton herself or her non-existent campaign.
Yeah, another commentary to the same op-ed (it is even in the headline of the piece.
Yeah, guess which mainstream media? Yep, the same WSJ op-ed.
Yet again another article about the WSJ op-ed.

Every single instance you cited referred to the same source - which, again, is not Hillary herself. Did you even read any of the articles?

On Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal ran an op-ed with the irresistible headline “Hillary Clinton’s 2024 Election Comeback.” The article, co-authored by Doug Schoen and Andrew Stein, ludicrously argues that Clinton could present herself as a “change candidate” if Democrats lose in this year’s midterms. It is not worth engaging with on the merits. Instead, this latest invocation of the Hillary bogeywoman is best viewed as the continuation of a tried-and-true strategy for the conservative media, especially the Journal. It’s the higher-brow version of Donald Trump’s favorite chant.

Sure, there was an op-ed written by a couple of Democrats which is referenced by each different sources. One original source, a speculative opinion piece, is the sole source of this speculation. Different news sources pointing to the same source are not corroborating anything but that the original source said a thing. Click bait.

Naw, this is recycled old speculation, moldy and half-rotted.

I read somewhere this week that Hillary Clinton is seriously looking at a possible third try for President in 2024. If Biden chooses not to run, which seems likely at this time, what would Hillary's chances be? Would she only go if Harris decides not to run or might she even take on the VP in the primaries and caucuses?

Trump might do well to make an offer to finance her primary campaign. ;)

I don't suppose that anyone knows, but he would almost certainly endorse someone. Maybe Gov. DeSantis?

Let's recap. First, you were asking what might happen...and when told, replied that the information was old and mold, recycled speculation...but then again, you supposedly didn't know anything about it when you inquired.

Not unless things change. Trump hinted that DeSantis was gutless for being cagey on whether he got the booster and DeSantis says he regrets not pushing against them he restrictions Trump put in place in spring of 2020. Their relationship isn’t the best right now.

Actually, maybe one Democrat and a Trump supporter. While they claim Schoen is a Democrat, he donated to and supported Trump in 2016. It is also worth noting that he essentially wrote the same editorial in 2018, that Hillary was determined to be the first female President and would run against Trump in 2020.

It is also worth noting that both editorials were written for Fox; one for Fox News (the 2018 editorial) and the other for the Wall Street Journal.

I could support Gov. Hogan and I believe that he would win.
