Right now, and for most of the week, I am lying in bed in pain with a heat pad held to my side under prescribed pain pill dealing with a kidney stone. I am not going do an exposition until things normalize for me.

Right. All the life in the Mediterranean hasn't died, Jerusalem hasn't been split into 3 sections by an earthquake, nor has a coalition of Moslem nations, led & supplied by Russia, invaded Israel & had their army destroyed by God.

I plainly showed you why Nero couldn't've been the beast. Nor Caligula. I don't like YOUR "fulfillment because it was NOT the fulfillment.

2) The book is not addressed to God, but to people. So the people's time is in play. In such way you can dismiss everything from the Bible saying its different with God.

...Except Rev isn't all symbolic. And in Biblical prophecy, symbols ALWAYS stand for SOMETHING. And most of Rev's symbolism is explained, either in Rev itself,(such as in the last verses of Rev. 17, which explain the rest of that chapter) or in earlier books of the Bible.

I've been paying PLENTY of attention, both to Scripture & history. This thread is about the mark of the beast. Right now, anyone can conduct business with cash, written or printed checks. money orders, or credit/debit cards. Now, cryptocurrency, which is digitalized money designed for use over the internet, is being used more and more. I believe this is, or is the forerunner of, how we will conduct monetary transactions in the future. I believe the mark will be something used to do cybercurrence transactions, once such tech replaces traditional money. I believe when the beast takes over, he will issue the mark to have control over everyone. And that mark could very well be an implantable microchip.

It's your choice to leave the thread, but if you have any other thoughts or beliefs about what the mark will be, feel free to express them.

If a vaccine can override your own cells, what's next? Injections or implants that can permanently change your DNA? Just one more step....

Such theology is not consinstent (when you, at the same time, teach the authority and inspiration of Scriptures).

OK, then, please show us from history when those events DID happen.

Speaking of going against Scripture, I showed you why Nreo (nor Caligula) couldn't have been the beast. There were many Scriptural criteria for the beast that neither of them met. Two of the biggest were that neither committed the "abomination of desolation"; innfact, neither was ever in Jerusalem at all. The other is, the deaths of each is well-documented. Neither was cast alive into hell.

The TRUE beast MUST fit ALL Scriptural criteria for the beast TO THE LETTER. There's simply NO getting around those FACTS about Nero.

Show me from history that Jonah happened or that exodus happened or half of stories in the OT or that Jesus multiplied fish and bread. You will not find it in your encyclopedias as history.

Not everything is recorded in secular sources in the same way you as a Christian would like. Most of things we accept by faith, having just some evidence, but no proofs.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

While the words "must happen soon" cannot be metaphorical, all you complain about is based on interpretations of metaphors, which can be various.

Soon must mean soon, there is no symbolism in it. While for example the lake of fire or the abomination of desolation can have many meanings.

Mt of Olives splitting in half - a prophetical metaphor.

On the other hand, there is a Roman road in the midst of it, which may be some partial, physical fullfilment of the metaphor, because it was used for escaping from Jerusalem, as the prophecy said.
