ps-lets just face it...good priests are getting removed

its pretty terrifying for them to walk this fine line
Michael Voris has a group at Church Militant called The New Catecombs. It is for good priests to speak their minds anonymously.
We have to remain obedient to the hierarchy and our holy father Pope Francis as is our duty
The New Catecombs gives priest a place to speak their minds without fear of reprisal. Michael Voris is zealous for the Church.
We all need to pray and ask Our Lady to intervene. Her immaculate heart will triumph.
Keep protesting, but please don’t think of joining a schismatic group. Be faithful unto death and you will get a crown of life
It’s not the people that stay home and watch TV that get to share in the glory of a super bowl trophy, but the players on the field
Don’t stay home and watch, get in the game and fight for your Lord. So you know Jesus wins? Who cares?

The holy thing to do would be to pray for the salvation of souls, offer it up and do penance, sacrifice and not let Lucifer and his minions detract, destroy and divide....

Be holy, let this stuff go

Pray for priests and support them!

Even when it's hard.

I like the attitude. Even when it's all uphill, Jesus wins.

this years NO midnight mass was so disturbing with the female reader wearing a mini skirt and bare legs, sitting on the altar in a chair right across from Father, who had to tolerate sitting in his chair with her directly in his line of site as he prepared to read the holy gospel in full vestments to honor and glorify God, while across from him sat a woman whose mini skirt was now just barely covering her groin with bare legs and high heels, and a low cut blouse. The direct opposites right in front of the tabernacle, of pride and selfishness and look at me not at Christ, and a humble servant dressed for a King.

The point is that they have forgotten that they are in the House of the Lord, and all eyes should be focused upon Him not you. She dressed like being up there was an opportunity to showcase herself and her body, showing no humility nor any meekness.

Trad Catholics never dress like this ever, and being there is divine. I do appreciate all the fine ladies there and the gentlemen and all the lovely children.

It goes to the thread, that its very hard to get to the tlm in my area, so this beauty is being ghettoized, leaving an often lost NO service to attend, where often beach shorts and flip flops are welcome.

So I wonder if God is just glad you came, so even if that's what you came in, then please come in.

right?
I would probably advise having a talk with the person in charge of the Lectors. Every parish has one of those, and their name can usually be found in your parish weekly bulletin.

It’s usually the deacon in my parish.

The thought came to me that we need to be reminded that we are in a spiritual battle. It is not against flesh and blood
There are many ways we can fight, but since we are in the material world, we need spiritual help. Pray every day. The Rosary is a most excellent prayer. Read the Bible, develop devotions.
Buy a copy of the Manual of Indulgences and study it. Did you know that you could earn a plenary indulgence every day?
To earn a plenary indulgence, you have to be in a state of sanctifying grace, so all attachments to sin, both mortal and venial need to be removed. Go to confession within 20 days of the indulged work, perform the work, receive Our Lord in the Eucharist, and pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be for the intentions of our holy father Pope Francis
Indulgences do not forgive sin, they remove the temporal punishment due to sins that are already forgiven. They can be applied to yourself or a soul in Purgatory, or dedicated to Our Lady to distribute as she sees fit.
If you don’t meet the requirements for a plenary indulgence, a partial is still granted. Pursuing a plenary indulgence is an excellent way to strive for sanctification. Go to confession often. Every two weeks and attend Mass every day if you can.
If you pursue indulgences, you will most likely be given the fortitude to speak up against sin and liturgical abuse in the Church. You will be a soldier of Christ.
I also can’t recommend enough that you read the Spiritual Combat and Treatise on the Peace of the Soul by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli. Do that you you will be fit for service

May almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Bless you all

Alternatively, he suggested that if we are fortunate to have a good pope chosen to succeed Francis, we may see the establishment of two rites in the Roman Church. As it is, we have a plurality of rites in the Eastern Churches. So having two in the west wouldn't be unprecedented. Then, as he said, we can "let the market decide".

This looks to be false equivalence. One Church, one Rite. There are no Eastern Churches with multiple Rites. So then you would be talking about establishing new western Churches, which would be as unprecedented as the liturgical innovations of Vatican II.

I just think Francis made a mistake. Hopefully it gets fixed.

I was thinking you were right about one Rite for each 'Church' but then I remembered the Dominicans have a Rite. And there is the Ambrosian Rite and the Sarum Rite. The Ordinariate Usage is within the Roman Rite though. I think there is some imprecision involved in how this all fits together. So for now I think I wouldn't want to say there was an old Rite and a New Rite within the Roman Patriarchate. Time to undo the pope Francis mistake but as to what to call it all, it isn't obvious to me.
