We are Not to Speak Against the Torah

Thank you Hark for finding scripture that proves my point. You did miss one really good one though found in `1Jn3:19-24 which clinches all I have written that we are not under the laws of the Sinai covenant. Thank you John for your concise explanation as to the truth of how we are to live to please our Savior. 1Jn3:19-24 (NIV) 19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
I refer you to Jn 15:10-14 Jesus own words as how we are to live. Seems to me that Jesus really did mean there in Matt 5 that He came to fulfil the law (bring the law to an end) and He really did fulfil that promise by giving us His new covenant at Calvary. I choose to live by Jesus gift to all mankind as my guide to live a righteous life. His gift is the Holy Spirit which replaced the Sinai covenant's 10 commandments written on stone. 2Cor3:6-11 (NIV) I, for one, certainly do not want to live like the Galatians Paul wrote about in Gal 3.

Hi Hawk, I have a question for you. Why do you mostly use the CLV Bible when referring scripture? CLV was written by A. E. Knoch, an anti-Trinitarian and it is possible that some of it may be slanted towards that belief.

SDAs Clear Word translation is certainly slanted toward the writings of their prophet Ellen G White. I have never seen where they ever use it in debate.

The 3 are one - YHWH

There is one God who exists in three persons, and those three persons share the one divine name of YHWH. That is the name of the Father, but it is also the name of the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Three persons, but one God with one Holy Name. The Father, therefore, is not given a separate personal name.

God is the judge of all those who were subject under the Sinai covenant. It is interesting that you didn't dispute the fact that the Sinai covenant was not about salvation.

My hope is that I will see all of God's children in Heaven, but again God knows all of our hearts and I will understand if some are not there.

Even the translators who mistranslated YHWH's name as LORD in all caps, didn't translate Yahshua's title as Master (Lord) in all caps.
