Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple.
2 Maccabees 2:1 One finds in the records that the prophet Jeremiah ... 4 It was also in the same document that the prophet, having received an oracle, ordered that the tent and the ark should follow with him, and that he went out to the mountain where Moses had gone up and had seen the inheritance of God. 5 Jeremiah came and found a cave-dwelling, and he brought there the tent and the ark and the altar of incense; then he sealed up the entrance. 6 Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the way, but could not find it. 7 When Jeremiah learned of it, he rebuked them and declared: “The place shall remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows his mercy. 8 Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will appear, as they were shown in the case of Moses, and as Solomon asked that the place should be specially consecrated.”
Kim Clement - June 20, 2008 - For God said there will be a restoration of the tabernacle of David. What is this says the Lord? It means whatever took place in David's tabernacle is going to take place on the earth again. What is it, what is it that I had in the tabernacle of David? My covenant, the ark of the covenant was in the tabernacle of David. Get ready for there will be praise like you have never heard. Get ready for there will be sounds that you have never heard before. Get ready, says the Lord, worship shall arise that the world has never been heard before for the key for the key of David has been given to you. The key of David has been given to you. Now people, rejoice, for I will restore and the ark of the covenant shall bring my presence, my glory, and my power back again to the earth!
Amos 9:11 LXX In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and will rebuild the ruins of it, and will set up the parts thereof that have been broken down, and will build it up as in the ancient days: 12 that the rest of mankind, and all the Gentiles upon whom My name is called, may earnestly seek Me, says Yehovah who does all these things.

I understand that 2 Maccabees isn't cannon for protestants. Not looking for a cannon debate. I simply included it because the author wrote, "it was found in the writings of Jeremiah." Take it or leave it. Also, you may not believe, or even heard of, a prophet named Kim Clement. (passed away in 2016) I simply include what he said as it pertains to the subject. Take it or leave it.
Now, the Tabernacle of David had one purpose, to house the Ark of the Covenant until the Temple was built by Solomon. Notice that 2 Maccabees mentions "the tent" along with the Ark of the Covenant being hidden in a cave by Jeremiah. I believe "the tent" here is the actual literal Tabernacle of David from long ago. If so, it would make perfect sense for the Tabernacle and the Ark to recovered at the same time, thus the restoration of the Tabernacle of David, as prophesied by Amos.
Also, the Ark carried God's presence, when the clothes, sandals, etc. of the Israelites did not wear out for 40 years. Therefore, His presence could still be on the Ark and thus the Ark and Tabernacle have never degraded at all in the cave. Even after 2600 years.
We read at the 7th Trumpet in Revelation; the Ark will be in His Temple in heaven. Since the Ark gets to heaven at some point, is it reasonable to think it will be found here on earth first? Anyway, I just found these things interesting, so I share them with you all.
Do you expect the Ark of the Covenant to be found?
