No, Pelosi was telling people to eat in Chinatown BEFORE it was know that COVID-19 was a serious pandemic. Trump downplayed the seriousness of the disease knowing full well how deadly it was yet still continued to hold rallies well after the pandemic took hold here. He made a point of refusing to wear a mask while visiting a hospital, hosting vulnerable people and, of course, any time the camera was pointed at him.

Biden has made a point of following safety guidelines.

You have any evidence that his actions resulted in the spread of Covid at these events and his contacts?

Biden only follows his safety guidelines when it's convenient or he's trying to make a point. Otherwise he doesn't. He's a hypocrite. At least Trump didn't do that.

Storming the capitol violently, yelling and chanting to hang and kill and harm elected officials, using flagpoles, fire extinguishers, and various other weapons, attacking police officers and harming them, and forcing your way into secured areas of the Capitol is not an insurrection? What is it then??? Tour group???

Anyway - your claim that "Democrats encouraged protests during the pandemic" is meaningless when Republicans did it far, far more and encouraged violence as well. The Republican president himself encouraged violence.

yet no one was charged with insurrection. You claim Republicans did it more. Most of the people arrested were black. Are you claiming they were black Republicans?

Not sure, but the Rose Garden event that he hosted was said to be a super spreader.

Not really. The mask mandate was lifted in Massachusetts at the time he was there and Nantucket had been excluded from the mandate even earlier. Do you think he should just mask up for show when it isn't mandated and after he has been fully vaccinated?

At least Trump didn't do that.

Trump was worse - he downplayed the severity of the pandemic, refused to tout his own government's expert advice and refused to wear his mask when he knew he was contagious.

Democrats fail to recognize just how potent the fear of a President Harris is with so many Republicans, Independents, and even moderate Democrats.

Of course, there is no time for such issues now. Democrats are focusing on passing the debt limit, passing Build Back Better, and in trying to convince moderates to carve out a filibuster exception for voting rights and criminal justice reform legislation (and in getting appointments through).

I suspect that these are all that might be passed in the next year, except perhaps for sanctions against China, Russia, Iran and/or North Korea.

Well, I can't speak about the Independents or moderate Democrats, but with Biden being the extremist due to his "tyrannical" COVID regulations, the Republican Panic Button has already been getting a workout.
