I didn’t realize you were living in Afghanistan. How many firearms does the average Special Ops soldier/Marine need? If you think you need more firearms than that, you might consider moving to a nice gated community in the Green Zone.

I have explicitly stated that I support the Second Amendment. I simply question the reasoning and logic of a grand display of one’s firearms as …. Perhaps an indicator of some emotional insecurity.

Actually can also comes across as supporting giving guns as presents to your kids at Christmas like they are a toy. Just days after the shooting by a teenager with a gun given as a present by his parents.

In world class bad taste after the murders of school children. A better way would have been to dress in hunting gear and act like an actual sportsman instead of an insecure man-child.
I respect actual sportsmen who care about the rule of law and wildlife and respect gun safety.

Overblown. Those places are few and small.
As for individual gun violence, theres a lot of that - but its almost never what we'd call a "firefight".

No. It's pointing out how weirdly obsessed that a lot of Americans are about guns, to the point that a Congressman would have a family Christmas photo with everyone in the family showing them off.
That's just weird. Forget the timing of the release of the photo with the recent shooting. Even without that it's still weird.
