I like my current digital art style a lot more than my previous one except for one thing: it takes soooo much more time! :waaah: Last year I started my Christmas drawing on November 25th and finished on November 28th. This year I started on November 25th and had to work really hard to get it done today, when I wanted to have it done yesterday at the latest...but, I still enjoyed it and I'm glad to have it done. :)

It's a weird one - definitely NOT like a cold or a flu. And everyone seems to be reacting differently to
Yes! I so agree and those that have told me it was like cold or flu, were fortunate or they just didn't pay attention to how different it was.

I don't like to make guesses, but my guess is that the pandemic will come to a screeching halt in about six weeks or so, when this new variant spreads around the world very quickly, infects
Yeah, I really don't think so. My first guess in May of 2020 was that it would last 2 years. I really don't have a gas right now but just think that we should use history as a measuring stick for how long a pandemic will last.

The NHS are on to me now, as my lab test came back positive.
I'm not familiar with that. I wonder if it's like the health department and all the interrogation you get after you test positive? How are you feeling today?

I'm grateful to be alive. =] :):):):) Hope you are all having a grea
Me too! This is a good thing to reflect on.:)

So glad that you got to enjoy creating this.

Okay, here it is. :)
This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing before you were planning to.:love2:

Praise God! Finally had my visit with my new cardiologist. Everything is normal. 80 heart rate and 118 blood pressure. I'm sure it would be better if I was back to running on a regular basis, but it's okay I've started up my strength training again for the winter.

He explained more about my heart rate and that connection with my running bringing it down. The high blood pressure though after the covid vaccine (174), he said is a reaction. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to say it was reaction, while other doctors have denied it.

He's going to do it write up and mail it to me. He also let me know that there is information out there on reactions to the Johnson vaccine, he couldn't give specifics Hopefully this write-up will give good support for when I file with the vaccine Court. I just want to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars that it's costing.

Next up is sending paperwork back to my insurance. They want me to write a list of symptoms of what happened before they can approve the charge. Fortunately my mom had typed it up immediately after it happened for me. This is going to be a long process.

The Lord be praised. I was fearing being in the red for at least the next three weeks without any money going into savings, but there was a completely unexpected boost to my paycheck this morning. Now it won't be so bad. ^-^

Praise God!!! It's amazing when the Lord works in those ways. I'm so glad. It's so hard when money is tight and you don't know when or how you're going to pay something. Especially necessities.

Just came to mind to say this, but, I have a cousin on my father's side of the family named Jenny who I remember spending a lot of time with as a child, although I do not see her much in person as an adult. But we are in contact on Facebook, and thus I recently saw her posted pictures as a model for some movement - can't remember what, exactly - glamorizing women who are well into their forties, especially mothers. Jenny is absolutely gorgeous even at this age, with a gentle face and wild but lovely and wavy light blonde hair.

Why do I think this of her? It is not just her appearance, which I think generally matches with her age but is nevertheless beautiful, but because I know of her demeanor and spirit. She is a dedicated nurse (for over fifteen years now, if I'm not mistaken), a self-willing believer in Jesus Christ, and a mother of three. How she manages to go on being both a mother and a full-time professional in such a difficult job who never strays from the ethical path, I doubt any of us will know. It can't be easy at all in daily life for her, but I imagine she has a strong heart and faith to keep herself going.

Just wanted to say that for some reason. I know that - at least outside of Arkansas :p - men aren't exactly supposed to compliment their cousins on their beauty, but I mean this in all due sensitivity and respect. I remember one evening several Christmases ago, when I had recently healed of my terrible OCD sickness from 2012, sitting with Jenny on a porch swing and speaking for a bit while the rest of the family was out for a walk but she had declined to go along (needing rest from, well, being a nurse and a mother and seemingly never wavering from either, I imagine). At that time while discussing matters of faith I had felt the inclination to tell her what an admirable woman she had become since childhood where my sister and myself had spent a lot more time around her. She was thankful. It was a good talk and a good memory. :) At that time, she was actually one of the first people in my family I had confessed to abandoning a certain aspect of traditional - or at least mainstream - Christian belief very recently and coming to believe in the conditional immortality view of life and death. She had been polite and accepting as well when I explained my reasons.

Just a good lady all around, and as I said before, unashamedly, it is what makes her appear beautiful even well into middle age.
