They have combined accounts in the past so if you asked them to, your post count and reputation would be reflected accurately. They did it for me with this name and tinkheartsjesus (my original name).

Cool. I might do that... I have to make sure I really want to get rid of the other name, first, though. I am kind of attached to it :sorry:

It's interesting that people equate blogs with a journal type thing - I personally think blogs have moved so far past "Dear Diary, today I...." and are now just a form of communicating opinions and events and sharing interesting pieces of information.

I do have a blog.. I also have a livejournal, which I hardly ever use and don't actually count as a blog ;)

just a little bit louder.

Agreed. Likewise, mine's on Wordpress. Generally I stick to topical sorts of things whenever I get the inspiration to post about it - and switches between review, commentary, recommended playlists, and tech-related postings. It's still new, so there are literally that few posts. Whether I'll get into political/religious commentary I don't know.

I disabled Google hits, but if you know the actual name of the blog then it shows up. Oh why not:

I have a blog on Xanga that I update every week or so, and a "secret," anonymous one on LiveJournal that hasn't seen an update in months.
I blog mostly because I like to keep tabs on what I'm doing, and sometimes read the entries months or even years later (kind of like journaling), but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like getting comments from people.

I probably have multiple accounts of blogs that I started up but never kept with. But I do have prayer journals that date back to 1996. And I have journals that day back to elementary school. In 1996 I decided to stop writing about myself and try to give more glory to God. Every once in awhile I go through and tear out pages of things that I need to let go of. I sometimes have to think about if I was to pass and who would be reading these things. Or a future spouse or God forbid the mother-in-law. I have a friend that happened too and it was not pretty.
