Brother, we would like God to make it easier, either by overriding our will or allowing us to continue to sin, but He offers His repetitive growth cycle of forgiveness in the daily as our High Priest to separate sin from our character. Nothing disappears because what was before better illustrates what comes after, like the repetitive way that God separates sin from our character. Rather than repeatedly offering animals as sacrifices for our sins, we now repeatedly turn to the daily in the heavenly temple of our High Priest in prayer to forgive our past sins and have another chance to rise again as a falling child learning to walk without sin by many attempts that bring the child closer to the goal. It works! I don't repeat the misuse of God's name by quickly turning to God's forgiveness when I hear it from others.

Here is the main point: We have a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in heaven. There he ministers in the heavenly Tabernacle, the true place of worship that was built by the Lord and not by human hands. And since every high priest is required to offer gifts and sacrifices, our High Priest must make an offering, too. If he were here on earth, he would not even be a priest, since there already are priests who offer the gifts required by the law. They serve in a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, God gave him this warning: “Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain.” (Hebrews 8:1-5 NLT)

The laws against sin continue in Jesus. Now Jesus is our High Priest and we turn to Him daily in prayer to forgive our sins. This faster cycle of forgiveness is more efficient in separating us from our sins than the death of so many animals. Jesus' death is just the beginning of His daily in the heavenly temple. Jesus as our High Priest ultimately transfers through His blood our punishment for our confessed sins to Satan. Satan will pay not only for his sins, but also for our sins handed over to our High Priest to transfer, as shown in the earthly copy of the heavenly temple service with Jesus now as our High Priest. "A far better covenant with God" is that Jesus lives forever to complete the cycle of rapid growth that will ultimately separate all sin from our character, as illustrated earlier by repeated animal sacrifices.

But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. (Hebrews 8:6 NLT)

Brother, we transitioned from illustrative shadows like "the best portions of Abel's firstborn lambs from his flock" to their reality in Jesus, announced from the beginning. Displeased was God with Cain's gift and not Abel's gift because Cain did not obey the shadows that represented the Savior of fallen humanity. Like Abel, we want to give God our own "rest", which is not the "rest" that God calls for in Hebrews 3 and 4. Will we be as obedient as Abel or disobedient as Cain, wanting to give God our own "rest"? Which He has not requested!

When they grew up, Abel became a shepherd, while Cain cultivated the ground. When it was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his crops as a gift to the LORD. Abel also brought a gift—the best portions of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The LORD accepted Abel and his gift, but he did not accept Cain and his gift. This made Cain very angry, and he looked dejected. (Genesis 4:2b-5 NLT)

Which means that all laws have disappeared, then? Or no laws have disappeared?

Edit:
In this post it sounds like you believe the purpose of the animal sacrifice laws have been achieved.

Brother, the second option, where achieved is each part at different times.

I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. (Matthew 5:18 NLT)

Previously, animal sacrifices, later the temple as a building in heaven.

I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. (Revelation 21:22 NLT)

United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

Do you believe the purposes of any other laws have been achieved?

Brother, the belief that the law has disappeared is mainly due to bad translations. I'll explain why the New King James Version translates Ephesians correctly when other translations fail. In verse 15 inserted is the word "enmity", found in verse 16, between the two feminine words "flesh" and "commandments", understanding the use of gender in the Greek language. In Greek, if you have multiple threads going on in a passage, you can keep them separate by using gender to connect the words. The result is the proper understanding that abolished and put to death is the "enmity" and not the commandments. The problem with the law and the reason it cannot save you is that if you have sinned at some point in the distant past, no matter how obedient you are to the law afterward, you are still doomed to death because of your past sin. This is the "enmity" that Jesus removes to allow your obedience to matter after a past transgression is forgiven. And now with Jesus as our High Priest it is easier than ever to get forgiven than before with the need for so many animal sacrifices, bringing sinners greater than Judaism closer to God, the Gentiles who are turning to God.

having abolished in His flesh (feminine) [the enmity], that is, the law of commandments (feminine) contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace (feminine), and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity (feminine). (Ephesians 2:15-16 NKJV)

If you don't believe that any of the laws of Moses have achieved their purpose and disappeared, then do you obey and teach all of those laws?

"So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven."
Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 5 - New Living Translation

Brother, I do not keep them all, my faith has not grown to that level, but I do not say to disobey them. I have not reached the level of a citizen of Israel, nor would they except me because of my correction of the Sabbath found in Hebrews 3 and 4. The Gentiles are becoming Jews and beyond. Working is the Holy Spirit to bring "Gentiles who are turning to God" into citizens of Israel.

remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ... Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household (Ephesians 2:12,13,19 NIV)

The Holy Spirit grows you slowly to obey the law as James allowed the Holy Spirit to grow "Gentiles who are turning to God" slowly as they listen to the law of Moses every Sabbath.

“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.” (Acts 15:19-21 NIV)

Are you ready in your growth with the Holy Spirit to accept God's call to keep the Sabbath in Hebrews 3 and 4. Expressed by Jesus below is this truth of not growing us faster than we can "bear".

I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. (John 16:12-14 NIV)

I don't accept what you say is God's call because to me it doesn't make sense.

Are you willing to explain more? Once a person keeps the Sabbath the way you believe the Bible teaches, what is the next commandment God wants a person to keep?

I don't accept what you say is God's call because to me it doesn't make sense.
Brother, I learned that the Sabbath in the Promised Land is not a day of the week on the first day in Genesis, confirmed later in the Manna story, before I understood what God said in Hebrews 3 and 4. It all started with the first day ending in a "morning". Someone in a forum, not this one, had told me that from evening to morning is half a day and knowing the meaning of "evening", I realized that he was right and all the days of creation end in a night where God stops creating until the next light-half from morning to evening. The days of creation begin in the morning, in the special case of the first day from first light to light again in the "morning".

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was LIGHT. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was MORNING—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)
Are you willing to explain more? Once a person keeps the Sabbath the way you believe the Bible teaches, what is the next commandment God wants a person to keep?
I believe the Sabbath correction will start "the latter rain" and we will rapidly grow once again in our comprehension of the entire word of God. As emphasized by our prophetess, who compared the work of the Spirit to rain.

“He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain.” In the East the former rain falls at the sowing time. It is necessary in order that the seed may germinate. Under the influence of the fertilizing showers the tender shoot springs up. The latter rain, falling near the close of the season, ripens the grain and prepares it for the sickle. The Lord employs these operations of nature to represent the work of the Holy Spirit. [See Zechariah 10:1; Hosea 6:3; Joel 2:23, 28.]

As the dew and the rain are given first to cause the seed to germinate, and then to ripen the harvest, so the Holy Spirit is given to carry forward, from one stage to another, the process of spiritual growth. The ripening of the grain represents the completion of the work of God's grace in the soul. By the power of the Holy Spirit the moral image of God is to be perfected in the character. We are to be wholly transformed into the likeness of Christ.

The latter rain, ripening earth's harvest, represents the spiritual grace that prepares the church for the coming of the Son of man. But unless the former rain has fallen, there will be no life; the green blade will not spring up. Unless the early showers have done their work, the latter rain can bring no seed to perfection.—Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 506 (1897). (Last Day Events, page 183)

Brother, as long as we are "growing" individually and collectively, paying attention to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are on the right track. "What we will be has not yet been made known", what the Bible does say is that when Jesus returns, "we will be like him."

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. (1 John 3:1-3 NIV)

Sounds great!

Reminds me of Galatians 5
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

So the thing to be concerned about is following the Spirit, not this or that commandment.

Brother, difficult is Paul to understand in our context, separated from Judaism. Peter tells us in 2 Peter 3:15-16 by inspiration, God seeing the future way used are his words to say the opposite of Paul's sentiment towered God's law. Galatians 5 is a great example! Some understand Paul as contradicting himself, saying something contrary to what He tells us about God's law in this next passage.

Sin took advantage of those commands and deceived me; it used the commands to kill me. But still, the law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good. (Romans 7:11-12 NLT)

The key to understand that Paul in Galatians 5 is not against God's laws, but rather speaks of the made-up laws of the Jews follows.

And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. (Galatians 5:3 NKJV)

Paul is referring to "the whole law" of the Jews, including made-up laws that God never asked for and from which Paul says Jesus has set us free. The purpose of these other made-up laws was to keep you from breaking one of God's laws. Like when placed is a fence around a hole, so that no one gets close enough to the hole to fall. Are you saying that we are under the law of Moses, then?

Brother, happy Sabbath! The Jews had mixed God's law with many of their own. James and the disciples expect that we will grow in the law of Moses by hearing it read every Sabbath. The disciples do not demand that we take it all in at once, as long as we are growing and paying attention to the leading of the Holy Spirit. God is rescuing His laws from human tradition, such as His "rest" on the seventh day of creation that was mistaken in the Promised Land as a day of the week when God taught in the Promised Land to remember His Sabbath in the time zone of Eden, which falls in the Promised Land between two days of the week.

So is that a Yes, we are under the law of Moses?

But the only law we have to keep right now is the fourth commandment?

Brother, God wants us to obey all His laws, but the shadows are now replaced with their reality in Jesus. The shadows continue to help illustrate our saving relationship with Jesus as our High Priest. The purpose of the shadows continue even though we no longer practice those illustrative animal sacrifices. Except for the beginning of the Sabbath outside the Promised Land, in all other areas I follow my church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Here is a video that tells the story of our church.

God wants us to obey all of his laws in their new form? Sounds great to me!

I think Jesus fulfilled all the laws when he came, so we now keep all of the laws in their new form.

Brother, the laws of sin weren't for Jesus, they were for sinners. The laws of sin are not fulfilled in us until we stop sinning. Anyone who disobeys God's laws "can never please God". The reason anyone would want to remove God's law is because it shows that you are after "the sinful nature" instead of letting "the Spirit control your mind".

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. (Romans 8:5-8 NLT)
