They can win national elections with enough gerrymandering. The US is likely to end up with a full minority government for quite a while.If it goes back to the states to rule on abortion, I expect a shake-up in the Republican party. A lot of Repub leaders don't want to do anything about abortion, they just like to run against it.
Now, however, a fired-up Republican base will drive out those pols who are all talk. I'd like to see that.
However, can such a party win national elections? Again, I'd like to see that.
Furthermore, an end to Rowe doesn’t end the battle. Now we’re going to start looking at how much monitoring should be done of miscarriages. Rowe was based on the principle that there are things the government doesn’t have the right to be involved with. With that principle gone, it’s all politics.
