Hence spending 40 yrs in the White House controlling the narrative?

Your comment makes no sense.

Who spends 40 years in the White House?

Not any politician or political appointee. The permanent staff perhaps (butlers, chefs, groundskeepers, etc.), but none of them have anything to do with any "narrative".

Could you clarify?

Fauci is the head of one of the component institutes of the National Institutes of Health. He is not a political appointee, or at least wasn't until his appointment (checks notes...) earlier this year a medical advisor to the President. He, of course, has served on various taskforces and commisions like Trump's 2020 COVID-19 taskforce.

What about his career makes you think he spent "40 yrs in the White House controlling the narrative"? and what narrative exactly is he controlling?

Careful, you're asking for consistency when the accuser doesn't realize they're ALSO advancing a narrative.

He knows. He's all about some sort of narrative or other. I've never seen anything else but narrative from that poster.

The comment made in an early stage, something you seem to want to ignore to just say, "See, I told you," while insulting our intelligence and myopically focusing on that aspect instead of WHY he said it and that he changed his mind with new evidence (because that's science)
Sure, "new evidence" shows that the virus is contained in over the counter masks.

No...it does not. Nothing has changed but Fauci's ever flip-flopping opinions.

Do you know for a fact there are no mandates or are you just selectively hearing things? Even if there wasn't a state wide mandate, that doesn't mean squat with private businesses. It's not either/or, the mandates are meant to be temporary in nature, not some long term thing like you seem to insinuate here

The rates are low because people are doing something reasonable. That doesn't mean that is the case everywhere even with a similar set of circumstances, you're extrapolating from your anecdotal context and assuming that no mandates= lower cases when I seriously doubt that bears out in the numbers

Natural immunity is not a guarantee with a novel virus and evolution thereof, you act like our immune systems can never be the actual cause of our deaths, like they aren't essentially biomechanical and not working on human nuance. No, they can induce fever, dysentery, cytokine storm, all under a pretense that they are protecting us. Thing is, they don't have an excuse, the immune system is a microcosm of nature in a way and unlike humans, there isn't some guided aspect, just basic protocols they follow at best.
Unlike many, I do not speak unless I know whereof I speak. Yes, I DO know that there is no mandate in effect where I am. It's been long over.

Yes, the rates are low. I check before just spouting off. I'm not going to identify my location but I don't just speak out of my bias; I check the facts to be sure I am correct (as much as possible - occasional typo or misunderstanding that I will correct notwithstanding).

Contained absolutely? No one said that, nice strawman and we also already pointed out the poor quality or inapplicability of the studies you cited to try to make your claim instead of having the humility to consider, "Hey, maybe I'm wrong and maybe these masks aren't some metaphorical muzzle like people I agree with make it out to be and thus foment needless contrarian 'libertarians'"

You call it flip flopping, I call it dealing with things in a moderated scientific manner, versus being some political opportunist like a certain former president who some think was illegitimately replaced (because cults!)

You can believe, that doesn't mean you know, you can merely believe you know and then be mistaken.

Okay, so what? And the rates are low in what way? Which specific rates? Never asked for your location, more strawmanning.

And does the phrase, "familiarity breeds contempt" sound applicable here? Just because you can feel comfortable and think you're never in danger doesn't mean that's an absolute.

That is why I check first, before making assertions. Everyone should try it.

By flip-flopping do you mean conclusions change as more data is gathered? That’s how science works.

Meanwhile we have over 600,000 dead Americans because his advice was not followed.

And if you somehow are proven right in some assertion of facts, that doesn't mean your conclusion of causative relationship between one thing and another is justified, that's an entirely different investigation

That makesz zero sense to me. Could you please extrapolate?
My money's on a conspiracy theory that the government is trying to cull the population via researching a virus that kills better and leaving those who survive under the thumb of the rich who, allegedly, created the situation and offer the solution.

Why not go a step further and blame a virus for the changes a vaccine may do to those with comorbidity? We are talking Mons*nto technology here after all. :)

That's two in a row that make no sense to me. It's like you're talking in riddles. What does this mean?

Are you concerned you might become RoundUp(tm) resistant?

Because we haven't studied mRNA at all before this and couldn't consider such things? And yeah, let's poison the well and fall deeper into the abyss that's bordering on QAnon levels of delusion. Not that Monsanto and many corporations don't do sketchy things, but we can't act like the solution should ever be MORE de regulation, right?
