Unless you drop serious money on a Kaleidescape, physical discs still look and sound noticeably better than streaming.

That was from 2016. I don’t know what happened in the interim, but they’re still up and running, for those who have the cash.

Which goes to show that a business can come back from failure to still enjoy some measure of success... Blockbuster, however, went Chapter 11 in 2010, closed down its stores in 2014, and does not seem poised to make a comeback.

When Netflix delivered that knock out punch to Blockbuster,
Netflix was the only streaming service at the time.

Today all that content is split between different streaming services.

A video store card would provide more choices and variety.

And when Henry Ford unveiled the Model A, his was the only company making automobiles. No matter how many companies there are with different models and features, the horse and buggy will not make a comeback.
