So it is.
And today I will go to France again for lunch.
Then I will buy some more Beaujolais Nouveau.
For me and as a present for friends.

It is just 15 to 20 minutes there - and 15 to 20 minutes back again.

Today it was like this:
Beaujolais Nouveau was all sold out!
I asked whether they might get a new supply.
They were not sure. Maybe, maybe not.
Then I discovered a few bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau in a half-forgotten corner somewhere.
Beaujolais Nouveau Rosé.
I bought all 6 bottles of them, to be on the safe side.

And France is only a few miles from my place.

Now I enjoy the Beaujolais Nouveau Rosé

My question:

Did anybody of you find any Beaujolais Nouveau in the place where you live?

Time was when in German supermarkets there where whole mountains of cases with Beaujolais Nouveau placed prominently in the entrance sections year after year.
But from year to year these mountains have got smaller.
Last year shop assistants in the wine sections had not even heard the name "Beaujolais Nouveau."

So this year I did not want to waste my time with German supermarkets.
So I crossed the River Rhine and went to France right away.

To my surprise even there the usual mountain of Beaujolais Nouveau cases was missing.
There were just a few cases in a more or less hidden place.

What is your experience?
