Agreed. 1 John 3:6-9 says those who are born again do not practice sin. Then what is the bibles definition of sin that we do not practice according to the scriptures (1 John 3:4; James 2:10-11; Romans 7:7; Romans 3:20)?
Sin is lawlessness..either by the Law that requires Faith or law that requires works Romans 3:27,28...
E.g.."everything that does not come from Faith is Sin"..Romans 14:23

So sin is lawlessness or without law? Then why are you teaching Gods' law is abolished when God's Word defines sin as the transgression of the law....1 John 3:4 [4], Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.

Well, I don't teach God's law is abolished..I follow the Gospel of the Faith which uphold God's law.." The law that requires Faith" Not the Law that requires works...Romans 3

Law of works or the works of the Law does not uphold God's Law...

If you uphold the law through faith which is what I also believe as shown in Romans 3:31 which says, DO WE THEN ABOLISH THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? GOD FORBID; YES WE ESTABLISH THE LAW. Do we show our faith by obeying God's law or disobeying God's law?

Yes, our Faith is shown by following the teachings of Christ and the Apostles also the Prophets...
They did not give us a list of commandments as in the old covenant to follow But a message of the One who live right and holy before God for us to follow in His footsteps..

Well that is not true is it? According to the scriptures in the new testament God's 10 commandments give us the knowledge of good (moral right doing) and evil (moral wrong doing); sin (moral wrong doing) and righteousness (moral right doing) according to Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172 and according to James if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. So if God gave us the 10 commandments are you saying we are not to follow them? You did not answer my question to you in the post you are quoting from. Do you show your faith by obeying God's Word or disobeying God's Word?

Knowing Sin does not mean Not sinning..the law only gives you the knowledge of Sin it doesn't mean you will stop sinning..

But if the Law (Law by works) shows you that you Sin then you turn to look for Christ to take those sins away by the Law by Faith..

The scriptures say that sin is the transgression of God's law *1 John 3:4 and that it is through the law that we have a knowledge of what sin is in Romans 3:20 and Romans 7:7. James says if we break anyone of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11 while James also says that no one has living faith if they do not do what God's Word says in James 2:17-26 and that if we claim to have faith but do not obey God's Word then all we have is the dead faith of devils. So let me ask you the questions you avoiding answering again; If Romans 3:31 says that faith does not abolish God's law and in fact it establishes Gods' law in the lives of those who believe and follow what God's Word says, then do we have faith by not doing what God's Word says? Perhaps you can pray about this. Nice talking to you I have to go for now but will be back latter.

Take Care.

Okay, put it this way...the law of works ONLY gives you the knowledge of Sin...the law of Faith cleanse you of those Sins....

So if you still looking at the Law of works and the Law shows you of your sins then why you still looking at the Law instead of looking at Christ (Faith)...E.g. like a mirror it shows you things But cannot take it away..

Wrong! According to the letter to the Romans it is the LAW (all of the commandments spelled out in the Torah, not just ten of them) which gives people the knowledge of sin. In fact, Paul goes so far in the first chapter to state unequivocally that even God's revelation in nature is quite sufficient to convict people of their sin.

I see so according to you, the scriptures in the new testament do not teach that God's 10 commandments give us the knowledge of good (moral right doing) and evil (moral wrong doing); sin (moral wrong doing) and righteousness (moral right doing) according to Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172 and according to James if we break anyone of them he does not really mean we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. So if God gave us the 10 commandments are you saying we are not to follow them? For me I believe we are best following what God says according to Romans 3:4 and Acts of the Apostles 5:29. Your making arguments here that no one is talking about therefore not relevant to the conversation. Are God's 10 commandments not included in God's Word? Something to pray about.

Take Care.

Gods' 10 commandments are not called the "law of works" they are called holy, just and good by Paul in Romans 7:12 because they give us a knowledge of what sin is when broken in Romans 7:7. As posted earlier, the scriptures teach us that sin is the transgression of God's law *1 John 3:4 and that it is through the law that we have a knowledge of what sin is in Romans 3:20 and Romans 7:7. James says if we break anyone of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. Anyone want to tell me what JAMES 2:17-26 means? If Romans 3:31 that we discussed earlier says that faith does not abolish God's law and in fact it establishes Gods' law in the lives of those who believe and follow what God's Word says, then do we have faith by not doing what God's Word says?

Something to pray about I guess.

God's Word told Noah to build an Ark because he was going to destroy the world with a flood because of their sins. The scriptures teach us that all these things are written for our admonition upon who the ends of the world have come and Jesus says it will be the same as it was in the days of Noah just before the second coming and all the wicked receive their rewards. So yes we should always have faith to believe Gods' Word as we ask Him to be our guide and teacher, but not seek to twist them to our own destruction as the scriptures teach.

Take Care.

So likewise, James is telling the 12 tribes of Israel (James 1:1)

Just because James appear in the New Testament, it does not automatically means James is writing instructions for you to follow, but it is written for our learning, just as we learn from Noah's instructions

According to you the New Testament only references the Ten Commandments. According to Paul the Law consists of each and every commandment given by God for the purpose of revealing man's sinful nature and the impossibility of justification before a holy God based upon observance of the Law.

So, who do I choose to believe - you or Paul? I will let you in on a secret. Paul has way more credibility than, you or Mrs. White, or any of your tribe.

According to the scriptures in the new covenant, God's Israel is no longer those who are born in the flesh but are now all those who have been born of the Spirit to believe and follow what God's Word says *see Romans 9:6-8; Galatians 3:28-29; Romans 2:28-29. If we are not a part of Gods' Israel in Gods' new covenant promise then we have no part in God's new covenant promise that was only made to Gods' true Israel *Hebrews 8:10-12; from Jeremiah 31:31. Gentile believers are now grafted in *Romans 11:13-27 and we are all now one in Christ *Galatians 3:28-29. Therefore all these things are indeed written for our admonition upon who the ends of the world have come *1 Corinthians 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16.
