12 in Sunday School today. 9 guys, 3 girls, 1 single girl.

I know in the past it's been argued on here by women themselves girls don't need to go out & can just get dates from online dating, but I think it's absolutely ridiculous single girls aren't motivated for other reasons to attend church & Sunday School.
Plus then guess what happens? Odds are she meets a non-believer & is led astray.
It's a total joke. It's like that at every church group I've ever attended or been a part of. The numbers skew men dominantly. & these aren't all 'passive', 'submissive' type men either. These are Prom Kings, football stars, all different kinds. I've said before of my friend's church's group: Christian women don't know the kinds of guys they're missing there! Cowboy types, 'hot' accents, etc.
& here's the weird thing too: these men are staying single! They're not meeting women online or wherever. I imagine they want good Christian girls too & they're not finding that. It's very sad.

I can't meet singles thru:
meetup groups
friends
coworkers
church groups
neighbors

How in the world do I meet a good Christian girl?!?!?!?!? More importantly, how are other single Christian men going to meet good Christian girls?

Most people in my Church meet in church. A lot have arranged marriages, with women found in the 'old country' (Egypt, Armenia, India, etc.) for them by extended family. I don't know what type of Christian community you are in, but have you thought of asking the elders in it to help you in this, rather than scoping out whoever turns up to Sunday School? I had older Egyptian women and even men saying things like "We need to find you a nice Coptic girl so that you'll stay here with us!" to me in my old church in Albuquerque. It was sad having to remind them that I was there to get a master's degree, not a marriage (cos it meant I'd have to leave; I still miss them).

Thank you for responding. Are you in Egypt? It's not like that here at all.
I don't know the elders at all. I talk to a Christian counselor on a regular basis. He's a retired pastor (probably an ex elder too) who attends my friends church I go to infrequently.

I was doing good past couple days but today hurts. I did find a sermon on dating on YouTube:

God had plans for Moses's passion. He gave Moses his passion for his people. Moses's passion burned. He got in trouble for it when he killed an Egyptian. Then one day when he was shepherding, God appeared to him in a fire. God appeared when Moses had developed a self-control for his passion. God's fire burned but did not consume. Fires are good when there's self-control. He can provide fires that don't burn out. Your fires will burn out. Fight fire (your passions) w/ fire (God's fire). Get passion (God). God is a consuming fire. Moses's passion wasn't bad, it was good & gave from God because God had a plan for it.

I found another sermon on dating on YouTube but didn't like it. It wasn't biblically based enough for me.

Single girl at work. Our breaks are never synced. Every time I leave she's 15 steps ahead of me. Every time I arrive she's 15 steps ahead of me. Every time I enter the room on one side, she's leaving on the other.

Sooooo frustrating.

I skipped Sunday School today. I'm tired of going to church groups & the guy-girl ratio being 12-1. It's been like that my whole life going to church groups.

Maybe try dating some atheist gal?

In Sunday school we discussed sexuality. The focus was on homosexuality, but some applications for me:

The Christian speaker Christopher Yuan says singleness is a gift. He says heterosexuality isn't a Biblical term. Heterosexuality can refer to someone who cheats or someone who sleeps around. The Bible talks about what he calls holy sexuality. There are 2 options: Sexuality is to between a husband & wife, or you have to abstain in singleness. He says it's the church's job to help singles.

I don't feel church's always do a good job helping singles. A lot of people at church are married. They like doing couples things, either w/ each other or other couples. Most of them have children. I can't relate w/ that & they're usually too busy w/ their children.
When he says churches can help singles, he mainly means singles can find peace in a church. I can't help but thinking that feels like a consolation prize.

LOL, I didn't think it had anything to do with whether the gals were Christian or Atheist.
I think he said he only will date Christians.
A relationship w/ an atheist would not work
