That's one person and it contradicts news that it is declining. Giving a one case as an example doesn't prove it is out of control. We have seen these testimonies throughout the last two years so what's your point? You vaxers need to give it up. Did you know that firemen and police have refused the vaccine? Think about it. That didn't influence my decision. It came way before their decision but who better to follow than a few vaxers that need to control?

It's a weird world when getting vaccinated to help protect your family and friends, your work colleagues, neighbours, the elderly, shop workers, first responders and society in general (as well as yourself) can be be termed 'a deadly sin'.

If you would be honest, you would not omitt my rply to a comment about virtuesignalers posting photos/vids of getting jabs on social media. Why did you omitt it and make a strawman? Yes, weird world. Have I claimed it is a deadly sin to get the vaccine? Answer before response, NO. That was your strawman.

A question to you. We have been told that herdimmunity is about 60%. If you are at 80-90%, why get it? And if all you know have gotten the jab, what does it matter?All eho want to get it, has gotten it, safe. Only me at risk, nothing to do with you, if the science and what we have been told is true.

The way I read that is 'I read somewhere that if enough people get vaccinated then I won't have to'.

The UK has over 85% of the population vaccinated and weekly cases are well over a quarter of a million. Maybe what you read isn't quite right or perhaps your idea of a successful result re herd immunity is different to mine.

The ones you parrot can move the goalpost, does not change herdimmunitylimit. It was around 60%m and is still around that level, politicians who go mussolini cannot change that. Medical science is medical science. Verbal contract, it stays the same.

You get the news as europeans do? If so, you would be informed that the vaxxed get infected and spread it, so it does not work that way. And a portion of them also get sick. So it is oversold by spindoctors. That is partly why brits have a spike, if you want to ignore the basic fact that they have reopened society again, hahaha, and it is a natural effect. And now we get the regular fluseason too, so expect more spikes. Expect the seasonal normal that has occured your entire life, instead of pretending that it is abnormal

Herd immunity means that when you open up society after a certain percentage have been immunised (what was the figure you gave?) then things will be OK. Is a quarter of a million cases per week something you'd normally describe as OK in Sweden?

Many Americans cannot fathom a small amount of sacrifice in the interest of public health safety. Unnecessary deaths seem acceptable to some if it means they do not have to bear the inconvenience of wearing a mask and getting vaccinated. Loving our neighbors isn't manifesting itself as it should in our entire population. Many will always value themselves or their "freedoms" more than other human life. It is not easy to really love everyone and consider their viewpoint without bias or prejudice. Often because it causes us to examine our own faults and beliefs. I'm not accusing any specific posters with this reply. Just an observation.

Over eight hundred thousand have died in the US from covid. I believe over 4 million worldwide _ so if your bodies antibiotics are better than Pfizer's or any other vaccine _ you actually have to survival for it to be of any use to you. The odds may be at 2% death rate of those who catch the virus - but one does not know if they are in the 2% or 98%.

Does God’s immaculate work include the creation of pathogenic viruses and bacteria? In the old days, millions of people were sickened, and many were killed by smallpox and typhoid. Tetanus was a common cause of death among injured people who’s wounds were contaminated by dirt. There were widespread polio epidemics in the first half of the 20th century. Often resulting in permanent disability. (FDR being the most famous victim.) And what could be done for you if you were badly bitten by a rabid bat or raccoon? All of these infectious diseases are now rarely seen because of immunization. (And smallpox is essentially nonexistent in developed nations.) So is it not possible that vaccines are God’s gift to us? And that God expects us to use them?
