Just how Sovreign is God? Is God in control of everything including human action?

I like how in Ephesians Paul States Stat God predestined our works before any of them even began. If our works are predestined by God that would mean all the rewards we were supposed to getis what we receive correct?

Or in Isaiah 49 when God said "I will accomplish all of my purpose." Doesn't God mean ALL of his purpose?

Just think about it, God has to be in control of everything or it wouldn't know what to do. If birds were not reliant on God they would starve

If God were in complete control of us we would fail. Haven't you temporarily fallen before? I know I have.

If the Holy Spirit were not there to guild u into all truth, we would never make it. So remember the sovreigny of God the next time you're afraid. God's sovereignty when used by believing God is in control and It will work out works wonders

Well, when you consider an Entity that is omnipotent; there's no need to "micro manage" the cosmos when He had the ability to intervene when ever He wants, where ever He wants to accomplish what ever He wants.

It's kind of the "old adage" of "God is the 1000 lb gorilla in the living room, who does what he wants."

Giving creatures their own independent wills; (and I'm not just talking about humans - my cat does what she wants too) ultimately does not make God responsible for creature's failings.

Scripture is pretty clear about the sovereignty of God; e.g.,

Daniel 4:35, Acts 2:23, 4:28, 13:48; Luke 22:22; Romans 8:29-30, Romans 9:14-29, Romans 11:25-44; Ephesians 1:4-12; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:12.

God exercises his sovereignty over men, not by compelling their acts or wills contrary to their preferences and likes (their disposition), but by operating through their dispositions, giving them to prefer his will;e.g.,
Genesis 20:6; Exodus 3:21; Deuteronomy 2:25, 30; Joshua 11:20; 1 Samuel 10:9; Ezra 1:1, 5, 7:27; Nehemiah 2:12, 7:5; Proverbs 21:1; Psalms 105:25, 106:46; Ezekiel 36:27; Daniel 1:9;
2 Corinthians 8:16; Philippians 2:13; Revelation 17:17,

to which their wills freely respond.

Man still acts voluntarily according to his wishes and desires (in his disposition), he still voluntarily chooses to do what he prefers (in his disposition) in God's exercise of his sovereignty over him.

Well put! I there are various arguments for God's sovreignty. Yours is one of them and I like.
However, mine is not really an "argument," right? It is simply the stated word of God.

Some don’t “make it”.

Yes.

including human action?

He knows what we are going to do, but has chosen to allow us to choose. If he can choose, so can we as we are made in his image.

If our works are predestined by God that would mean all the rewards we were supposed to getis what we receive correct?

That makes it sound like "you don't need to pray for guidance and ask what to do; God has already decided. And whatever Scripture teaches about rewards, God has already decided that too; you'll either receive them, or you won't."

Or in Isaiah 49 when God said "I will accomplish all of my purpose." Doesn't God mean ALL of his purpose?

God has accomplished his purpose; he has sent his Son to die so that we, and all creation, can be reconciled to himself. John 6:40 it is his will that everyone who believes in Jesus has eternal life.
God will fulfil his purpose - Jesus will return one day, fully establish his kingdom and sin and death with be finally defeated and destroyed.

If God were in complete control of us we would fail. Haven't you temporarily fallen before? I know I have.

I know you meant "if God were not in complete control of us we would fail" - but we do fail. So you have just suggested that God is not in control of us.

If the Holy Spirit were not there to guild u into all truth, we would never make it.

What do you mean by "would never make it"?
We certainly cannot be born again without the Spirit, nor are we able to live our Christian lives without the Spirit. The Spirit leads us to Jesus who is the Truth.
That doesn't mean the Spirit dictates every one of our steps, and deeds.

God's sovereignty when used by believing God is in control and It will work out works wonders

What do you mean by "it will work out"?
Yes, God works for good in all things - but he doesn't will, or plan, accidents, suffering or things that happen due to someone else's sin - i.e the shock of burglary leading to a heart attack. He also doesn't control our actions to the extent that we are pushed towards a certain spouse/church/career with no say in the matter.

God does guide us, yes; but I have come to think that he doesn't actually mind too much if we choose to be a nurse rather than a social worker. His will is that we accept his Son, John 6:40. His work is that we accept his Son, John 6:29 - but even then, he will not force us to do so.
