We the saints and faithful brethren. Having faith in Christ Jesus and love for all the Holy ones because of the HOPE, the expectation reserved in the heavens for us. The good news, the Gospel which has come into us, bearing fruit. Having been fitted into the portion, the inheritance of the saints in Light. Delivered through His blood, our sin sent forth, separated from us through Christ Jesus, the image of the invisible God. The Head of the Body, the Church. We who have been Reconciled INTO Him in the Body of His flesh through His death to present us reconciled, changed, Holy, without fault in His presence, to fulfill the will of God. If we continue in the faith grounded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel. The hope, the mystery which is now revealed, Christ in us the hope of Glory. This hope, the expectation having been reserved in Heaven and has come unto us. Whom we preach to present every man in Christ. Wherein we labor, striving according to His working which worketh in us mightily.

AMEN!

Col 1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Col 1:4 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love that is to all the holy ones,
Col 1:5 because of the hope that is laid up, reserved for you in the heavens, which you heard of beforehand by the word of the truth of the good news,
Col 1:6 which has come to you, as also in all the world, and is bearing fruit, as also in you, from the day in which you heard, and knew the grace of God in truth;
Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, the One which hath fitted us into the portion of the lot of the saints in light:
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption, deliverence through his blood, even the forgiveness, freedom, the sending forth of the sins:
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by, through him to reconcile all things unto, INTO himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable, without fault and unreproveable in his sight, presence:
Col 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Positive way is not the glory of men, it is this way..

Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

1 Thessalonians 2:6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

I love Colossians it is one of my favorite letters. It is a shame that to many of us get centered on just one thing because it really brings out the Gospel. But alas it is used mainly to discredit or honor JUST the Sabbath. Here follow along as we delve into chapter 2. Please notice how Paul continues in context in regards to the Mystery, Christ in us the Hope of Glory.

Be encouraged because our hearts are united in love And into all the riches, of the full assurance of the understanding into the full recognition. The knowing of the mystery of the God and Father and of the Christ. The Mystery which is Christ in us the hope of Glory. That we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Striving according to his working, which worketh in us mightily.

So AS we have received Christ Jesus walk ye in Him. Being rooted, built up and established in the faith in Him. We are complete in Him, circumcised in the putting of the body of the sins of the flesh. Buried and risen with Him in baptism, quicken together with HIM walking in newness of life. Having Forgiving us all trespasses. Blotting out the handwriting TO THE ordinances. Not the ordinances themselves but the handwriting to them, in them or of them is what the verse says. THE ONES THAT HAD TO DO WITH FORGIVENESS or when we sinned. Because we have been forgiven all trespasses and are not complete in Him, striving to His working which works in us mightily. He took them out of the way nailing them to the cross.

That is the context. Having spoiled their, the handwriting TO THE Ordinances, power and their authority. He triumphed over them in it, the Cross. Let no man therefore, Because of what was just said judge you in meat, drink or respect of Holy day, new moon or sabbath days. These that were of the handwriting to the ordinances. NOT THE ORDINANCES themselves and certainly not the ten commandments.

Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
Col 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Col 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Circumcision, is in the Spirit ( not in the letter) as the praise is not of men then, but of God.

The circumcision and uncircumcision is justified by faith.

Circumcision is the keeping of the commandments of God.

Circumcised made without hands by the circumcision of Christ, putting off the body of flesh.

Circumcision is faith, which works by love ( the love of Christ shed into our hearts by the Holy Ghost given unto us)..

We are the circumcision who worship God in the Spirit, and have no confidence in what is done in the flesh. ( as seen in all Israel did in the flesh and not in faith, nor love, nor Holy Spirit)

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
