Not only is the Kyle Rittenhouse trial not going well for prosecutors and progressives there seems to be lots of problems with the star witness Rosenkreutz. I forget all the details just watching a video covering the Kenosha shooting trial, but there is lots of discrepancies that suggest he lied to police and maybe perjured himself at some point too on a detail or two of his earlier testimony. (Part of the problem is the witness made the mistake of tweeting about his testimony and experience of the shooting etc.)

Anyway it hard to get a lot of good articles on this because the mainstream liberal press does not like this kind of story, and only alternative media are really covering it, but I will post what little articles I can as far as board rules and such goes.

Kyle Rittenhouse defenders are saying this is the moment the prosecution collapsed

Gaige Grosskreutz testifies Rittenhouse "re-racked" his weapon while holding him at gunpoint

Here's two little example take from Twitter.

"Grosskreutz initially told police he shouted to Anthony Huber to stop hitting Rittenhouse with a skateboard. When pressed by the defense, now Grosskreutz says that is not true "with the benefit of hindsight""

"Been searching through every angle of the Kyle Rittenhouse footage and there is no sign of him reloading his rifle while aiming at Gaige Grosskreutz".

Anyway for folks who are watching things closely, chime in!

This was the only day I had been listening to the trial, because it was on in the background while I was working.

His testimony was strange. He never told the police he had a loaded glock on him, and he had a couple of opportunities to do so. You can't blame him right after he woke up from his first surgery after it happened - anyone would be drugged up at that point. Yet, he was interviewed a couple of times and never said a word about it. He also after getting a civil lawyer refused to cooperate after that, and wouldn't allow anyone access to his phone when it was needed for the prosecution.

Then he has a civil suit against the city and federal government for NOT protecting him while he was there for 10 million - and again never mentions the presents of his glock in the legal paperwork to sue. Could be because he didn't want them to know he didn't have the license to carry. Who knows. No doubt that factor would effect his civil suit too.

He accuses Rittenhouse of being part of a militia group (Boogaloo, Proud boys), and admits it was just his hot air because they found no links. lol the defense brings up the strange groups Rosenkreutz is part of. His response? I'm not a member, but I'm affiliated with them and spoke at their rallies. I'm sure his statements are where the media got the idea that Rittenhouse was part of these militia groups. Rosenkreutz was live streaming, and made the comment about this - which the media has parroted.

The last part that I though the prosecution was going to lose their teeth over? When he admitted that Rittenhouse didn't shoot him until he pointed his glock at Rittenhouse's head. The court Clerk's facial expression and the prosecution's hands over their faces? Yikers! Link (2:30:16 mark)

He really did himself - and the prosecution no favors overall.

I heard something on the news just a few minutes ago that the prosecutor actually ordered the police to not check cell phones of the victims or something like that, that would have normally been standard procedure. Basically like the police were doing their best to not find information that might detract from going after Rittenhouse.

I remember something about this at trial. LINK 55:56 mark approx. They were talking about the phone. He had dropped it, and Rosenkreutz assumed the police were given it by someone - or found it. At the second interview with him the police asked to search his phone for the murder investigation. He refused. The defense asked him if he knew the police had a search warrant for it. He said he didn't know that.

They really didn't go any further with that line of questioning. I assume that part will come up later. It is odd that the police would ask to search the phone - having a warrant for the search - and not exercising the warrant.

Maybe they did and we find that out later. I would wonder WHY they wouldn't exercise the warrant if they had one.
