If they were told that often enough, could they be brainwashed into truly believing it? I've been in various arguments on the topic and people just outright deny reality. I'll argue into the ground when it comes things like intellectual equality, spiritual equality, etc. because those things are not dependent on physical strength, muscle density, bone structure and other very OBVIOUS features (to the sane among us)but I'm at the point where I must seriously consider that a large segment of our society isn't even living in any sort of objective reality...AT ALL.

This is one of the reasons why, whenever somebody gets uppity with me over one of the leftish "sciences" like global climate change, or Darwinian evolution, or Lyellian uniformitarianism, and tell me, "Well, you need to look at the science," I always just smile. Their "science" is driven a lot more by agenda than by science.
