I don’t want you censored, Rus!

thanks for your prayers.

Lord, have mercy!
For what it's worth, I have also been censored around here. (One reason I almost never appeal to authorities on this site)
Through the prayers of St Pantaleimon, may swift healing be granted to your father, and help to your family!

Kate checks up on Dads incision every night. It’s healing really well. However, his ability to walk is still at absolute zero. Super slow….

After the extreme pain he experienced with the break, I can imagine that he anticipates experiencing similar pain which subconciously causes an unwillingness to attempt to walk.
Continued prayers.

Continued prayers! I know how hard it can be to get back to normal after injuries like that. Praying that recovery is swift and full.

The last few nights have been tough for sure. Not easy to visit my dad. My wife and kids and I are trying to talk to him and the guy in the next bed on the other side of the curtain is, well, how do I say this delicately?

Not playing with a full deck. Really super disruptive dude, and it gets vulgar and nasty. We're trying to get him moved to another room. You guys wouldn't believe what he pulled 2 nights ago. Off the HOOK.

So, we got my dad moved to another room. Super quiet, much much much better. He still is slow healing, but it is coming along. He is developing a small skin infection, so the doctor prescribed antibiotics. Kate is not a bit worried. Very small potatoes. His incision is looking great.

The problem continues to be putting weight on the hip and actually walking. With just one step the pain is like a thunder bolt for my poor dad. I am praying to the Lord that He help my father get up from his bed and walk as we saw in Scripture. God is a Lord of miracles, healing, restoration, and strength. I'm asking the prayers of St. John of Shanghai and our Lady Theotokos.

Your continued prayers mean A LOT. This is not going to be a short journey. Thanks, everyone.

Yesterday I took my mom for a flu shot. Her Parkinson's is so severe that she could barely get into and out of the car. I went into the Walgreen's and asked the pharmacy staff if they could come out to the car. They say they don't do that as policy and yet for my mom they'd make an exception. Glory to God. Worked out great.

We got home, my mom's muscles were stiff as granite. She could barely get into bed. I helped lift her legs and get her in. I took out my Iveron Hawaiian Icon prayer card that touched the myrrh and icon itself. I placed it on her legs. I then took out my St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco reliquary oil and rubbed it on her legs. I then prayed asking his intercession along with that of the Theotokos of the Iveron Icon. My mom began crying and was very touched. I went through the Orthodox daily office of prayers. After all this, I checked to make sure everything was good to go. I went home. My mom called me and was blown away. She said it was very unusual....her legs loosened up, her mood changed, she felt all this hope, and she was nice and limber, comfortable.

God is good. Thank you, St. John, for your intercession and love. We are so blessed to have the saints as our friends in heaven and our guides and aides!
