Where did He say anything about Israel being a nation again or Jerusalem being back in the hands of the Jews in Matthew 24:1-31? Nowhere that I can see. So, how can those things be among "these things" that He said would be signs that the end was near? That makes no sense. You're reading that into the text.
When Jesus and the disciples were entering Jerusalem there was a fig tree beside the road, but did not have figs on it because it was out of season.

Jesus cursed the fig tree as a sign that generation of Jerusalem was going to reject him as her king.

On the way back out of Jerusalem, the disciples were amazed that the fig tree had withered up and died.

So when Jesus gave the parable of the fig tree generation, the fig tree represents Jerusalem, which must be back in the hands of the Jews for them to say to him, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Matthew 23:39.

A central them in the four gospels is that Jesus is the promise King of Israel, coming in the name of the Lord. That is to say, the one chosen by God to be their King.

The Antichrist is another, they will embrace for a while as their King of Israel, instead of and against Jesus the rightful King of Israel. Coming in his own name means that he is not the one God chose to be their King.

Why are you telling me this when you know that I don't even believe in a singular Antichrist? What you said here means nothing to me since I don't even believe in the appearance of a future Antichrist.
If such a person comes to power as leader of the EU - not yet the Antichrist - you may change you mind.

Within 4 years is not such a distance away.

That has nothing whatsoever to do with Matthew 24:32-34.

Nope. You are once again taking a passage of scripture out of context and trying to relate other scripture to it that is not related. You're not seeing the context of what He said. The context is given in the very next verse.

Matthew 24:32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

All Jesus was doing here was comparing how you can know that summer is near when you start seeing leaves on a fig tree to how we can know that His coming at the end of the age is near when you see things He previously talked about occurring. He said "when you see all these things, you know that it is near". What things was He talking about? The things He had previously talked about before verse 32. None of which included anything about Israel being restored or Jerusalem being back in the hands of the Jews.

If such a person comes to power as leader of the EU - not yet the Antichrist - you may change you mind.

No chance.

But, would you change your mind if such a person does not come to power as leader of the EU? I think your doctrine is on shaky ground when it has to be fulfilled at a certain time in order to be true.

Spritual Jew, the Jews have to be back in control of Jerusalem before Jesus returns for them to say...

39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Time of the end is the latter days, latter years when the Jews have returned to the land of Israel so that Israel is a nation again in Ezekiel 38.

The parable of the fig tree beginning in verse 32 is a message to Christians to know the season of Jesus's return, and of the rapture/resurrection, the means of escaping the great tribulation.

While verses 15-31 is Jesus's message to the Jews on how to survive the great tribulation, in particular those in Judea, by fleeing in the mountains when they see the abomination of desolation standing the holy pace.
