But how much did the taxpayers get stuck with for decorating or the improving of
Mar a Lago?

Just this year, it's almost half a million for Biden's place at the beach.

As a matter of fact, Trump suffered a $70,000,000 loss from his hotel for taking time off to be a public servant, whereas Biden has been living on the taxpayers' dime for his whole adult life. And that doesn't count millions of dollars from influence peddling. And Trump turned his salary as president ($400,000/a) back to the US Treasury. Don't hold your breath waiting for Biden to follow suit.

And, in addition, Trump was a workaholic. As already was mentioned, Biden's own records show that he works only about three hours a day when he does work.

And he won't take questions from the press. But then again, he won't visit the border, won't travel to hold talks with other heads of state, and doesn't bother with a host of ceremonies which Presidents have traditionally attended.

Do you so soon forget how Trump met with the press corps almost daily in 2020, along with Fauci and others, to keep the public informed about Covid when that was newly developing? Biden won't even take questions from the press, and says he has no need to do so.

I don't know how old you are, but in recent decades the Capitol was bombed (!) several different times, and one of those incidents did $300,000 damage. And there was the time that Puerto Rican nationalists shot up the Congress while it was in session. In other words, we're not governed by what you can't remember or don't want to remember.
