"Do unto (or think of) others as you would have them do unto you." might be a worthy principle to consider here.I recall the scripture- "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he".
I hope i got it accurate and I wonder of this comes into play.
I’m sure he feels horrible. Not his fault, though. Whoever handed him a loaded gun… that’s the person to ask questions of. What was a real gun even doing on the set?I guess I got mixed feelings on thread. As a lawful gun owner myself, I understand some of the Schadenfreude against Baldwin for his virtue signaling etc. on the issue. But folks got killed and hurt over an accident. Baldwin of course could be more true to his ethics and not do such movies where such accidents might occur and pass up some $.
I probably would avoid posting a meme that has an explicative word in it lest you get in trouble with the powers that be...

Irrelevant.
Gun safety rules apply whether it's loaded or not.
Um I just heard this in passing from the News. Didn't this actually happen while trying to film a scene? Or is that fact or assumption wrong? (I heard or thought the scene called for shooting the prop gun at someone)
Why would he be aiming at the cinematographer. Besides the woman who was killed was also working on a documentary about Hollywood pedophilia. More than likely an assassination. How's that for a conspiracy theory. Watch it turn out to be true in 3-6 months.
OK thanks! What I heard sounded like him doing a scene, but I guess maybe he was goofing around with a defective prop gun... So a firearm safety class would have potentially saved him, kind of like the GI Joe saying of "Knowing is half the battle!"
The first thing that you learn in firearms training is "do not point a gun at anything that you are not prepared to shoot." He has some responsibility the old "I thought the gun was not loaded" is never an acceptable excuse.I’m sure he feels horrible. Not his fault, though. Not that I can know his actual thinking, but his distaste for guns may have something to do with his failure to respect the gun as a weapon. My problem (if I had done it) would be that my familiarity with guns can make me careless —something I must be mindful of constantly, in order to keep proper habits in their handling. The first thing that you learn in firearms training is "do not point a gun at anything that you are not prepared to shoot."
