Interesting guy. Thoroughly ruthless to his political enemies, but also mandates common sense at various times.

Good on him for speaking sense, and the truth.

I think one can find much more reasonable people who share that viewpoint without having to cite someone like Putin to try to make a point I would hope.

That's sort of like citing the Ayatollah saying "stealing is wrong and should be punished"

I think it's perhaps to make a point like, "If our leaders here in Canada/U.S are supposed to be better than Putin, then how come it's Putin calling attention to this atrocity and not us?"

I guess the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" approach can create some strange bedfellows...

The problem with using an almost universally disliked figure for that example, is that the message doesn't carry a lot of weight. It carries more weight when it comes from a person who the other side claims to revere (or at least, are afraid to criticize)

Nobody is forcing children to be transgender. And teaching kid, it's easy to became a different gender. What is being taught if transgender people exist, and should be threated like everyone else. And have rights. Not to beat them.

No, it's not. It's teaching the kids truth. That some people are transgender or gay. And they should treat them good.

As far as Putin's comments I find myself divided. On one hand I do not believe biology is as clear cut as a conservative would want to believe. On the other hand I think certain progressives can get too caught up in promoting a thing that they end up going too far. Especially when many of them seem to harbor views that gender differences are mostly due to culture. This mindset handled without care could psychologically mess a lot of people up.

It's not teaching kids truth that men can be women and women can be men. I agree about treating people good, but treating people good doesn't include validating lies and mental delusions and putting children on hormones and puberty blockers because of said delusions.

(Homosexuality is a completely different discussion and issue and many gay people have been attempting to separate themselves from the whole trans thing because they are also being harmed and abused by transgender ideology.)

Well, I wouldn't say it's monstrous, but the progressives do take political correctness too far now and then.
