What people are suggesting to take human life? do you have a source for that? I think the suggestion to reduce the human population is by controlling the birth rate by having fewer children not by taking existing lives.

Well—if nothing can be done, then this thread is pointless. But where did you get the idea that killing off the very young, and the old and infirm, is under consideration as a means of population control? Even as a strawman, that’s as crackpot as they come.

People that want to knock off a few hundred million from the population do not strike me as being concerned with others. Maybe that somehow resonates with you as love and concern for others.
Looking at the statements of some fear mongering population control freaks, one can hardly help but to be struck by their fanaticism and disdain for human kind and God.

I posted a link that showed lives were lost due to defective birth control gear. The examples of forced sterilization and 'whack every child but one' policy of China show that mass death is the result of this death religion. Then we have the mass child sacrifices pushed by foundations, the UN, and governments and education and the medical system. That is taking tens of millions of human lives every year.

Who is not these days? I gave lots of links and quotes. Family planning is a phrase that means population reduction. Basically they plan how to stop babies from being born, and how to kill them. So whenever you hear the words family planning, exchange them for 'mass murder of the unborn' and you might get the idea.

Whatever motive you may imagine people have for mass murdering millions of unborn humans each year doesn't really matter. Abortion is very much a part of the agenda of those who do desire to lower the population. As for the growing trend to end the lives of the elderly, that does result in less people alive as well. There is a lot of room for abuse there as well. Example:

The thread discusses the fact that many people desire to reduce the population. It is not pointless to be aware of that or discuss it. It is futile to pretend that man can save the planet or stop wars, or save himself. Yet that is what the climate change and population control movements are all about. The same with the save the various animal species type organizations etc.

Gorbachev really? This seems more anecdotal click bait. I checked your "22 Shocking Quotes" link (which was the only source you gave me) and I didn't see anything in there to support the OP, even if you include Gorbachev. try a source that is actually talking about killing lives to control the population rather than superimposing it over cherrypicked population crisis quotes. (btw the one-child-policy in china is over)

You’re entitled to your opinion. I’m a retired physician with 40+ years of practicing internal and occupational medicine. I’m not an OB-GYN. I'm not trained to do abortions and have never performed one. Though I've had patients who’ve terminated pregnancies. About half were done for medical reasons. As I recall, most were married, already raising children, and working. Not a single one made the decision lightly. Whoever thinks women terminate pregnancies as casually as getting their nails done is an uninformed, misogynistic idiot. I’m also certain that the only population-related issue that may have been a motivating factor was a concern about overpopulation of their own families, and lacking the ability to provide adequately for the same. Which you may think is still ethically reprehensible. But it's not your decision.
Regarding physician aided dying: I served 10 years on my hospital's ethics committee. PAD (the term we used) was discussed, but no cases ever came up. I live in a conservative state, and I strongly doubt any law permitting the practice will be enacted in the foreseeable future. The states that allow it specify very explicit conditions which must be documented for it to be permissible. If I was still in practice, it's not something I'd care to do. But when it's done to relieve suffering, with the fully informed consent of a terminally ill patient who has decisional capacity, it's erroneous to link it with population control.
