This (Zack's) experience is not the usual NDE. Indeed, it's not what makes NDEs what they are.

Yes, some people are pronounced dead (Zack, by the way, was NOT pronounced dead; the EMTs were still working on him when he recovered) and appear to be dead by all the usual tests...but then they come back.

However, the phenomenon called an NDE includes the fact that what is told by the person upon returning to life does not seem to have any possible way of being real, yet the facts that are revealed are verifiable.

In this case, they are NOT verifiable.
