You don’t know that. Unless you know them personally, you only go by what you’ve read online. Have you confirmed it for yourself that this is actually a man posing as a woman?
The Biden administration sure thinks so.

I’m not a doctor so I don’t know but do men and women receive different treatment for a heart attack?
Yes, there’s different treatment.

Congrats to Rachel Levine. I'm glad transgender female and males are getting better treatment. And not having to hide and live in fear anymore. Rachel Levine being transgender doesn't really matter to anyone. It's just Rachel Levine business, and nobody else. Hate or like it, It doesn't really matter.

In sorry, they sure think what? Your phrasing isn’t quite clear here.

Yes, there’s different treatment.
Well that would be her problem, wouldn’t it?

But how exactly would that impact her job at all?

But you do care what Hammster thinks and have determined it is wrong, according to your standards of what it right and wrong, or what is acceptable in your eyes.

You have not provided any evidence as to why Hammsters opinion is wrong, or that yours is correct.
I haven’t said that Hamster is wrong or that I’m right here. I’m just asking why we should care if she’s a trans woman. No one here has really given a good, specific reason why it’s a problem and she shouldn’t have the job other than vague references to gendered clothing and medical treatment for a heart attack.

You guys should first maybe figure out what exactly you find to be the problem then you’d be better able to articulate it to us as to why we should care.

Again if you are waiting on an argument that's not "trans people are icky" your gonna be waiting a while.

What exactly is the issue?
The issue is the demand that everyone else pretend that they are dealing with a person who has actually changed his sex.

If someone wants to dress up and act like a member of the other sex, that's his business to the minds of most of the people who are being denounced here as bigots, blah blah blah. And then, to make matters worse, they or others of the same POV are being victimized by the "cancel culture" of the Left for not using the personal pronoun (!) in speech that the political activists have directed must be used when referring to such trans people!

I have no idea except that he seems confused about sex. Not a good position for someone who is a medical doctor.

There seems to be a huge overlap between people who refuse to call certain other people by their preferred pronouns and people who insist on referring to a being with no penis or testicles as He/Him.
What's so compelling about the idea of someone picking out pronouns that everyone else would be obliged to use? What if the person in question, whether, trans or not, insisted on being called "Master" by everyone who addresses him?

Would you agree that everyone MUST do so simply because the person making the demand decided on that? IF NOT, do we get to call you names and denounce you as some kind of hater or Neanderthal who should be punished or shunned?

That's essentially what we're dealing with here.

Master is not a pronoun.

"Master" is not a pronoun. But disregarding that I have no problem addressing someone with reverend if that's what they prefer. Even if that person is nothing to be revered. It's just courtesy.

No, it's not a pronoun. But the principle is the same. One person decides he wants to be called ___ for one reason or another that's sufficient unto himself.

Maybe it doesn't deal with sex but with nationality or it's just a language that someone made up, like Klingon. That's just about what the fanatics who are not satisfied with 'he' and 'she' or 'they' say must be done. They've made up nonsense words and deemed them pronouns...and said that THESE are the ones that must be used.

So "Master" was just a quick example. All the rest of this could have been gone into by me at that time if I thought you were going to miss the point as you have. There is nothing unique about a pronoun, you know. Any form of address goes to the same issue as he, she, it, they, etc.

But disregarding that I have no problem addressing someone with reverend if that's what they prefer. Even if that person is nothing to be revered. It's just courtesy.
Ah, yes. But that isn't what is going on. It's not that the trans supporters ask that this or that be done by the rest of us. We're dealing--as was pointed out earlier--with demands and the swift retribution that can follow for anyone who does not abide by the demands that are made, often not by the trans person himself but just those political activists who think they can tell everyone what to do in every way...or else.

When you have no argument. make fun of the person writing the truth.

Nah, just making fun of living in such abject terror of simply being kind to others.

But then again to you truth is relative to the situation, or the person in this discussion.

At least my morality doesn’t normalize punching down.

LOL!

He was born Richard Leland Levine changed his name to Rachel, underwent surgery to remove his genitalia in 2011. It is a matter of public record.

So yes - he is a man dressing as a woman who has amputated parts of his body to do so. Biologically he is still a man.

Ok, and how does any of this impact her job?
