Clearly the writers of the bill disagree with you. As if one accuser loses a case, a thousand others can using the same evidence and the judges are barred from dismissing them because the first case lost, unlike other lawsuits. So the defendant who has been cleared by the first court will be bankrupted by the others all using the same evidence.

Oh, wait a minute. Are you suggesting that If I do something which injures numerous people; and all of the people who are injured come to sue me; that if the first person who sues me, loses their case, for whatever reason; then judges should be able to dismiss every other claim against me, without hearing any evidence?

Would you include mass fraud, where a shill files the first suit?

Is that what you call justice? Is this your idea of how to squelch vigilantism?

Now here's where the real beauty of the law comes in, those who bring suit do no need to be inurned or in any way involved as per the law:

(a) Any person, other than an officer or employee of a state or local governmental entity in this state, may bring a civil action

A federal appeals court has allowed a heartbeat-based Texas ban on abortion to remain in effect, rejecting the U.S. Department of Justice’s efforts to reinstate an injunction. Biden administration officials have pledged to ask the Supreme Court to reinstate an injunction.

The law allows for awards of at least $10,000 for successful lawsuits against those who perform or “aid and abet” illegal abortions. Women seeking abortions cannot be sued under the law, which first took effect Sept. 1.

Well that all sounds good. I wonder what the impetuous will be for packing the Supreme Court to undo it. This would add to it normally, but at this time I think they (as in the Democrats) got their own internal problems with infighting, Biden's floundering popularity and screw ups. I guess the bright side of our future economic woes are this might get set in stone, if they can't find a way to cheat like they often do with liberal judges ignoring laws, the Constitution etc.

You approve of the innocent talking of life?
I cannot articulate my views on the morality of abortion on the forum per the terms of use I agreed to.

It doesn't matter what you or me think. It matters what God thinks. It is murder. It is a grievous sin. This is an evil genocide. God hates this! Those who butcher babies should be locked up.

I don't see anything in the U.S. Constitution, which limits the right of the individual to sue for an illegal act.

I've read over the limited and enumerated powers that the People and the States have delegated to the Federal Government; and I just don't see this enumerated.

Can you point out where in the Constitution that the People and the States ceded their rights to seek action against illegal activity?
You need to address the argument. You don't see anything in the US constitution because it circumvents the US Constitution.

How would that be relevant?
What? How could it not? If he wouldn't have got her pregnant she wouldn't be in the predicament.

In a just world, this law will create a WHOLE lot of single dads as mothers start handing custody over to the men who impregnate them all over the state. That would be a WONDERFUL outcome.

Actually, I think the most wonderful outcome would be if Christians in Texas started to adopt the thousands of kids up for adoption and any and all new unwanted babies who come into the world from this.

But we can all guess that few if any Christians would actually try to make the world a better place and are really just trying to impose their morality on others. Even though I would prefer a woman births a child, ultimately I think it's her body her choice.

Edit: Edited to cover some unpleasant language.

Honestly, I 100% see every single Pro Lifer doing this. The exceptions to that opinion are rare rare rare, though they do exist. A friend of mine is one of those exceptions and while I disagree with her position as anti-pro-choice I havE FULL respect for someone who is not focussed on holding power over others but on ACTUALLY helping.

Careful. I'm not sure folks really know care about the quality of the law if they agree with the outcomes.

Let us just butcher innocent babies then! That is scandalous. That is wicked.

The law is not the test of what is right or wrong, the Word of God is. That is it! The constitution is trumped by the Word of God. Murder is wrong!

The USA is not a theocracy, so the sacred text of any religion, including yours, is not important.
