I would like to post in fellowship and ask any Messianic Jews knowledgeable about Jewish liturgy about the different worship traditions and variations between Siddurim, and how these are implemented in Messianic Judaism. I also want to express my extreme sorrow over the fact that Yemen, the birthplace of the RamBam (Maimonides), one of the greatest philosophers and theologians of the last millenium, and home to the Yemenese Jewish tradition, has recently lost almost all or all of its Jewish population due to the ongoing civil war, and to express my solidarity with all Jews everywhere.

My only way to be involved with any MJ congregation is with online access. Congregations are too distant, just one that seemed close enough turned out to not be a congregation with services, but someone with videos and being available for speaking engagements. I am limited to what I can view online, and with my disillusionment with traditional Christian celebrations my learning how to observe biblical celebrations is limited by my isolating myself as much as I do for my health concerns, being vulnerable, and by what I can actually afford with not having so much for some things.

I am sorry to hear that. Unfortunately many MJ congregations that lean Orthodox don't stream Sabbath services, for reasons of trying to follow the Law. There are some MJAA congregations that I know stream, the MJAA congregation I was a part of for a time streams all of their services.

welcome to our corner... there are people here who know good on line services... hopefully they will pipe up with some choices that you might like.

If any good online services get suggested I will check those out. I still recently have tried one service that is still the closest one I could find with a search, though I was not finding any for that of MJAA, that one I've watched online is still too far for me to go to.

Shirley and I have suffered from the same problem. The only Messianic shuls near us are over an hour away by car. I won't go into the ramifications of that situation. But it is not something I would do.

I was privileged to learn from a former member, Mishkan (David Negley) and developed a close relationship with him and his wife. He was an exceptional teacher.

A ferocious proponent the p'[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] (the plain meaning of the text within the context of the time, culture and political climate from which the text originated) David was a lifeline to us in a difficult and solitary situation.

But alas, David passed suddenly from a mysterious and debilitating illness - an event that was a horrific tragedy in my estimation and one that deeply traumatized me personally. I kinda cratered and withdrew from everyone and everything.

Honestly, if I had the support of a home congregation, it would have made a world of difference, so I sympathise with many of the posters in this thread.

Sad, I didn't know that about David, I've been gone from here for awhile too.
Thing is Phil, it's not about being close to a Messianic congregation but being able to join one even online that feeds your beliefs. I actually moved out of state to be closer to the MJ congregation I had found out about. It was an hour or more each way but we did it. However after moving there and trying to be of all help to the congregation we found out that there were things they were doing that were not in line with the Bible.

So now even though we live only a couple miles away from there we do not go. But I've been 'attending' a non descriptive Torah observant services online. I've tried many but this one seems to be one of the better ones. If you'd like to know what it is, drop me a PM.

Can you get You Tube? Many stream on there.

Here's one I follow -- Jacobs Tent ---- https://www.youtube.com/@JacobsTent

There are many recorded services you can browse through. They normally broadcast live on Wednesday for Midrash and on Shabbat morning at 11am and come back for discussion in the mid afternoon for discussion on the Torah portion from the week. They also celebrate the New Moon and have a special service each month for that unless it falls on Shabbat.
