We don't have an icon corner. When we bought the house we were able to repurpose the dining room as our home chapel or prayer room 
. All the walls are covered in icons.
In our first home we had a few icons sitting on the top of an upright piano. Each time we have moved, we have expanded a little, getting furniture specifically for use in our prayer corner. Once we were able to buy a house, we were specifically looking for one where we could set aside a whole room. The Realtor didn't even want to show us this house because the previous owners had let it get into a pretty awful condition, but it turned out to be perfect for us.
